Crackdown 3 (XB/PC, Sumo Digital) E3 Trailer out Nov 7th

I already want an article by Jason Schreier about what went wrong with this game. It's pretty obvious something happened.

I remember shinobi said something on Twitter about development on this game going badly a while back. Seems he was not kidding.

Only Sumo got credit, no Ruffian or Cloudgine mentions. Looked like 4 player co-op or were those supposed to be AI buddies?

This is a mess.

Seems like there was an attempt to have music carry the trailer. It looks alright, but nothing compared to I what thought it would be. You know.. the whole destruction thing and all.. missing from the game. Either that's being swept under the rug entirely, or their "clouds" aren't ready.

Remember that video of the building falling over? What happened to...anything at all like that?

This one:

Yes, this is what I want to know as well?

I was really looking forward to this and was hoping with the delay this would be next level, maybe the Xbox One's Horizon Zero Dawn.

I'm legit pissed about this. I wasn't expecting them to match the destruction from the reveal trailer fully, but to completely cut it out and just carry on like nothing happened?

Nah, fuck that. I want to know what the fuck happened and why the first game on the goddamn 360 looks better than this shit. This was literally the only game (apart from SoD2) that I was looking forward.

The fuck happened.

So did Crackdown 3 lose all the destruction they were touting before? It was nowhere to be found in the trailer.

definitely some signs of 'let's just scrap this & start all over'. terrible trailer for a major, highly-anticipated in-house exclusive...

Welp, judging by that trailer (and wow, frame drops in the video during explosion sequences?!), looks like I'll just be getting it on PC. I see no reason why my current PC shouldn't be able to play that game without problem considering it can already handle Forza Horizon 3 and GoW4 with minimal hiccups.

biggest disappointment of the show for me

reeks of development hell

My thoughts as well. That entire video screamed "There'll be a Jason Schreier expose on this game six months after release."

and if anyone still needed proof that the "power of the cloud" was Pr bullshit....

it looked like a crackdown sequel, nothing more, nothing less..it could still be cool to plauy, hope they pushed a bit the powers now that there's more power at their disposal

Crews said something like "drop a building on them" so I'm sure you still can destroy them. It will be more limited most likely since the "we can spin up the equivalent of 10 XB1s to support the physics for each and every player" was some Peter M. level bullshit.

One of the biggest downgrades I've ever witnessed.

They swept this game under a rug for a long time for a reason.

What the FUCK happened? This was my most anticipated game this year. No gameplay walkthrough? No destruction? Microsoft YOU BLEW IT.

By far the most disappointing showing of the entire conference. Looked like damn shovelware.

"Shit, we have a terrible game. Let's hire a meme comedian to distract people from how bad it looks."

Loved the original Crackdown on 360, but this... man I can't describe how poor this looked.

Yep. Trailer absolutely screamed 'development hell'.

Pretty disappointed honestly. Was totally expecting crazy destruction, but besides cars being blown up, not a single hint of that.

Also, it honestly looks like it could be a 360 game visually.
