Think they'll be announcing anything during the daily streams? Not anything big obviously, but I'm still holding out hope for ReCore Definitive Edition. The DLC is long overdue.
I presume recore will get the dlc announced this week.

Since Gamescom (so in 2016 and 2017)
Microsoft have announced:
Forza Horizon 3
Forza Motorsport 7
State of Decay 2
Dead Rising 4
Ori 2
Excited for Ori 2 and SOD2, forza is nice, but that is simply not good enough. 2 racers and 2 zombie games? No new ips since recore and sea of thieves in 2015
And to top it all off they cancelled Fable Legends, Scalebound and Knoxville since then
Phil said he wanted to rework first party, all he did was put an axe to it
There are a couple of ports you could probably mention too but I don't think it helps them so I'm not going to bother
I hope so! Would make for a decent "available now" announcement.I presume recore will get the dlc announced this week.
It's pretty obvious that Microsoft is scared of announcing games too early in their development only to see them canceled. It's happened to them frequently this generation;
- Fable Legends
- Phantom Dust reboot
- Ion from Dean Hall
- Scalebound
I understand the desire to be more selective with their announcements and so on, but they be able to at least make a few commitments with something such as a CG trailer. There's obviously more going on than they're announcing. We could all argue that's a mistake but that's not really what this thread is for.
Within the next year I think we will see;
- Halo 6 from 343
- A new IP from The Coalition.
- Studio Gobo's game. This is the one that I'm surprised we didn't see announced at E3.
Yeah, this is pretty terrible.2017 with Halo Wars 2, Forza 7, and that ass game of crackdown 3. Plus Cuphead.
This is fucking embarassing.

That's not a first party game. Unless there is some weird deal going on that I'm not aware of?People keep forgetting the Mario 3D Worldish platformer? I could swear it's releasing this year?
Yeah thats the thing, I didn't expect them to have much with as much as they've canceled but I really didn't see that they didn't really have anything to announce coming.Man, I was really prepared to give Phil the benefit of the doubt and I honestly expected them to come out swinging to show Scorpio in the best light possible, but their first-party line up is really half-hearted right now. He's done a shitty job of leading the division, when the most important thing should be games. BC & refunds & Game Pass and so on are fantastic initiatives which shame Sony & Nintendo by comparison, but he's completely lacking in what should be the most crucial aspect of any console.
Horizon 4, Halo 6 and Gears 2 UE, probably.I fear that the next e3 is just horizon 4, gears 5 and halo 6..

The coalition are named as such to make Gears, you're going to be disappointed if you're expecting a new ip from them.
Also concern about announcing new games too early is fine, the question is, why do they have a whole 3 new titles for the entirety of 2017?
Halo Wars 2, Crackdown 3 and Forza 7 are nice games but as an entire line-up from a platform holder that is really really shit
Discouraging showing at E3 this year... This isn't good enough, Xbox.
That's not a first party game. Unless there is some weird deal going on that I'm not aware of?
Neither is Cuphead @Strootman
Edit: And goddamn... If they actually spent money on Super Lucky's Tale instead of investing in Banjo-Kazooie then that's just ridiculous.
Rare are only making a new IP because they don't have one, once Sea of Thieves launches that is probably all they will make for the foreseeable future, the same way all Xbox studios focus on one series. The problem is that Rare are Microsoft's only studio in a position to create new IP.

Semi-good news is that the finally will have some exclusives in the pre-season (spring) next year. State of Decay 2 and Sea of Thieves. The I'm *guessing* Halo 6 and Forza Horizon 4 in fall? Not lighting the world on fire but I guess better than this year lol
Is SLT lifetime exclusive or just timed?
I liked that game, looked very Mario which is probably going to be a bad thing when you sit down to play it... But the trailer was charming at least

I think Banjo still happening, maybe Rare was happy Phil just approved their new Banjo pitch and celebrate on Twitter with subtle hint.
? I think its possiblejesus christ

After this E3 your fear might be justified.
Fuck MS their hype machine, all year they kept silent talking about not having enough time at E3 to show ALL these great games.
Let down off the year, Spencer, Major, Albert, Shannon are all just hype masters. Credit to Ken for reviving Killer Instinct tho.
I fear that the next e3 is just horizon 4, gears 5 and halo 6..
My annual Xbox first-party (+ lifetime/major 3rd-party timed exclusive) chart that looks specifically at the announcement line-ups, updated with the latest E3 announcements.
Xbox FP 2017 in summary? The emperor has no clothes.
But they did show a plethora of games, did we watch the same conference?
I doubt we'll get Gears 5 next year. So just horizon 4 and Halo 6. Still, that's much better than what we're getting this year.

Look above.
Halo 6
Forza 7
Gears 2 Ultimate
My guess.
I would've accepted 'Full of sound and fury, signifying nothing' but that's just as good.My annual Xbox first-party (+ lifetime/major 3rd-party timed exclusive) chart that looks specifically at the announcement line-ups, updated with the latest E3 announcements.

i assume halo will either be announced at game awarss or something else. seems obvious microsoft game studios funding is at an all time lowUnlike last year though, we have no idea whats next years falls game besides forza horizon and halo 6 (maybe?).
The subtle hint was for the free rare replay we all got.
Unlike last year though, we have no idea whats next years falls game besides forza horizon and halo 6 (maybe?).
This years fall games are Forza 7 and Crackdown 3. There's no guarantee there's going to be more than FH4 and H6 next yearUnlike last year though, we have no idea whats next years falls game besides forza horizon and halo 6 (maybe?).
True.Super Lucky's Tale was probably cheaper and a lot further in development.
Nah. Super Lucky's Tale is being made by Playful Corp. Studio Gobo's game hasn't been revealed yet.Isn't it the Studio Gobo game? Wouldn't surprise me. But it's exclusive though, isn't it?
Yeah. I have a feeling we already know next year's entire lineup. Maybe Studio Gobo's game will make it, but it'll probably come out in early 2019...This years fall games are Forza 7 and Crackdown 3. There's no guarantee there's going to be more than FH4 and H6 next year
MS always had at least one
Titanfall, Quantum Break, Halo Wars 2, Ori
I'd bet its a deal like Dead Rising 4
They are publishing, but its timed

That might be first step of the announcement like FF7 PC version port at PSX.
Well, Kinect would add dozens of lifetime exclusives to those lists.. you could dismiss them, but that's not really fair.I'd like to see that chart stretch back into the 360 gen. I'm convinced that Kinect covered up the same sort of development trend back then.
