I already bought the game, it's not like I can lose anything hyping myself ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
But he has a beard, and wears sandals.
The game struggles to reach 30fps on PS4 lots of the time, so how it would run on PSVR (which needs 60-90fps) I don't know. They've not suggested VR in press, OTR or in the ARG.

Sorry to get off topic but what is nonsense about it. The guy lied. Not even gonna quote the nonsense
Yeah, it's definitely old concept art, it was posted in various websites a few years back.
Wish the game really had such deep canyons and tall, dense jungles, oh well.

Remember last time everyone got hype.
Bruh... it runs at 60fps. It also hits a mostly locked 30 at 1800p.
It runs upcapped on PS4, but largely doesn't hit 60fps.
Oh shit man, I just realized you said base PS4. I read it as PS4 Pro. You're right, my bad.
On PS4 Pro my experience is actually worse performance wise - I have a 4K TV, it varies from 60fps to 30fps. E.g. go into a cave, fine. Go outside and look over the horizon, big FPS drop.
Anyhoo, don't want to take it off topic - just saying PS VR support may not be on the agenda.

I can get jiggy with this kinda update. The updates have been pretty good so far. If I could have my way it would be a total revamp of the UI, but more specifically addition of a system map and a revamp of the galaxy map to look like something a bit closer to elite dangerous. The UI is very klunky right now and it makes traveling back and forth to visited worlds painful.
It may well be an expansion/DLC. They did say they planned DLC.
Because the topic of him lying has already been run into the ground. We know he lied but it's just tiresome at this point.
Does anyone actually believe this?
I think you may simply be confusing people talking about the ARG within the context of the narrative its driving and people actually thinking its real.
People are just excited about the lore. I haven't been following the ARG at all and I'm not interested but people get immersed in stuff like this just like they do in any fictional universe. It's fine. They're not children.
I haven't seen a single person in this thread that fits your description.
So the last update we got is that we're gonna hear from Sean Murray today in some form? Is this correct? Any countdown or idea of timeframe?
Yes, there is now timeframe other than within 24 hours from last night at around 10:30 EST.
That's a hell of a timeframe. At least it's today though.
I would happily buy additional dlc, I got over 70 hours out of NMS and was very happy with it.Haha, sure, who is so stupid and will ever buy anything from them again?
(But, I have a little bit respect for their patches, don't get me wrong)
Wait wasn't that about drawing clouds rather than drawing on the cloud? Or maybe I'm thinking of something else.
Next up we're adding the ability to build bases and own giant space freighters. Temporal AA and my new cloud rendering tech should be coming soon too. It will really change the game again, and enhance it visually.
And some will defend Hello games to no end.I would happily buy additional dlc, I got over 70 hours out of NMS and was very happy with it.
Does that make me stupid to you?
I swear, NMS has some of the most obnoxious and disingenuous haters I have seen.

That was a year ago and I'm sure priorities changed a lot since this post was made with the rough launch and al, but I hope they get it into the game eventually.
edit: Wait, where did you hear this was about actual clouds and not server-side processing?
I enjoyed the game a lot. In fact the game I got was pretty much what I was always expecting so the few missing features weren't a huge issue for me (other than sandworms, I need them now). And some will defend Hello games to no end

I own game and enjoy it but to say it was missing a few features is just wrong. It is not the game the Sean went on tv saying it was.I enjoyed the game a lot. So to suggest I'm some hello games fanboy is fucking ridiculous and does more to prove my point about NMS haters coming up with their terrible shit posts that plague every damn thread. For people who supposedly hate the game and sean Murray they sure can't stay away.
That is what I thought as well...Pretty sure it was in reference to actual clouds being drawn, and not drawing upon virtual servers for additional power, etc.

How would that "change the game", though?
Not sure, it was never high on my wishlist for the game so I never followed up on it.How would that "change the game", though?
Wait, are we sure that in 24h starting yesterday stream we will have news?
The Mercury subroutine has concluded successfully, and a new memo from SM about this process is coming in the next 24 hours. We hope it will answer a few key questions you have about our program, and about what comes next.
