I see no downside. If it blows up we all (OP included) get a great story out of it and OP might even learn something.
OP is obviously as thirsty as a man who just crossed the Sahara desert for this girl. Another possibility is that he hooks up with her and the thirst is quenched.
The last outcome is nothing happens and he got a free place to live for a month.
It's a win/win/win situation. OP did the right thing.

Everything has been normal so far. Just going to work, coming back home, watching tv/movies, and then going to sleep. Her mom and her brother have been incredibly nice and hospitable. I got them into Code Geass and the goal is to finish it by the end of this week. So far 10/10 would recommend

Honestly OP I hope you get out of this unscathed. I think all guys have a complicated relationship with a girl who is kind of a "best friend" where we tell ourselves that we're fine with that friendship but rarely is that the case...Usually things like this just end up hurting me.
