Trump takes shots at Kaepernick, ‘Get that son of a bitch off the field’

Maybe that it's not white people against black people as a whole? I agree that what Trump said is disgusting and that the way he treats white supremacists better than regular black people who voice their opinion is as well, but this rethoric doesn't help anybody.

I wish...but I read that a lot of times these days when he says something outrageous.

When the majority of white people are the ones saying this. Her statement is very valid.

"GET THAT SON OF A BITCH OFF THEE FIELD! YOU'RE FIRED!". Hahaha. This guy is hilarious. Does he have his own TV show?

... what? What do you mean by "he's the President of the United States"?

So lemme get this straight... Donald Trump can campaign saying America is not great, but (black) players can’t insinuate that at all?

Well no, Black people can certainly say America isn't great..

for Christians or the White working class.

I mean, it's a pretty accurate "rhetoric" that white people always got something to say about how black people protest, even the ones that are allegedly on our sides, saying we have to do this way, or that way, and so on.

This one of those times y'all can quote MLK lmao

"y'all" like I'm a white person. This is what I'm talking about. Fuck that noise. I would love to see you tell that white people who protest with you in the face. Have fun with your race war I guess.

It isn't rhetoric when it's true. For white people the goalpost just kept being moved when they have to acknowledge how society is set up, and even has a specific term: white fragility.

You are basically saying not a single white person has aknowledged how it's set up. Please. White fragility is a term that gets thrown around a lot these days, and most of the time it's just to invalidate everything another person has to say.

When the majority of white people are the ones saying this. Her statement is very valid.

Then she should say exactly that, the majority. She didn't though, and that is where she's wrong. The way people word things matters, even in times where things get more and more extreme, or maybe especially then.

I agree, some dudes kneeling during your precious anthem is a much more pressing issue than Nazis killing people in the streets.

More whites showed up at the Chancellorsville Rally as counter protesters than Nazi/KKK scum. Lumping all whites as racists is the same thing those racists do when they call all minorities thugs, etc.

He isn't. He's saying it because he's a racist prick. These are his real thoughts, "uppity blacks need to learn their place".

I know he is a racist POS. I am just wondering if all of these tweets are to distract from other things like the Russian investigation and also it was revealed recently he wants to undue protections for the Alaskan Wildlife Refuge so it can be opened for oil and mining exploration and how Tom Price is costing US Tax Payers hundreds of thousands of dollars for taking private jet flights when the asshole should be flying commercial. There is a laundry list of other things that have come out recently as well, but it seems to get sweeped under the rug because this orange turd decides to write something stupid on twitter everyday.

When the President starts using harsher language against actual white supremacists. Then you can make this argument. When the people who continually shout down and are triggered by a simple kneel acknowledge the issues with America and not handwaving it away then you'll have a point.

Your post simply boiled down to #NotAllWhitePeople We know that. But when a majority of white people continue to tell black people or any POC how to feel or protest. Again that tweet is valid.

You sure are displaying a lot of that fragility even if you're not white.

Lmao what

You have no problem throwing every single person who happens to be white into one category: "white people". And how "white people" love to throw MLK quotes around, or how I'm one of those "white people" because I have a different opinion than you.

White people who happen to be on the streets with others to protest against the orange turd or white supremasist fuckfaces don't love to throw MLK quotes around and they also don't have anything against people of color protesting. Keep telling them they are "allegedly" allies though and keep throwing them in the same category as the assholes having problems with people like Kaepernick.
You sure are displaying a lot of that fragility even if you're not white.
"Everyone who doesn't share my opinion is fragile."
It's just another word for snowflake, both are dumb. Nice arguments btw.

The president isn't all white people, the people being triggered about Kaepernick aren't all white people. You appearently don't know that, because you have no problem throwing everyone in one category. Using hashtags doesn't make your point more valid, nor does it make her post more valid. Again, obviously she is right about the general point, but the way she words it and how others in this thread are wording it doesn't help anybody.

"Niggers should know their place"

Could you imagine if Trump's twitter got hacked and someone tweeted that out? The White House would take 40 minutes to acknowledge it and Trump would say there's no hack because he's too good at cyber, then he would delete the tweet and say it never existed -fake news!

DietRob

i've been begging for over 5 years.
I feel like the only way you can read that tweet as an indictment on all white people ever then you've likely got some skeletons in your closet.

Nobody else see's that tweet and thinks 'every white person'. Instead they think the people who are so up in arms about this protest (who the vast majority of are white)

Honestly I'm shocked that he hasn't slipped up and said used the slur already. He doesn't need to be hacked for it to happen. All he needs is more time. I'd almost be willing to bet my house it happens.

You said "majority". Is that 51% of whites or 99.99%? Would you like to specify?

Here's a graph of how many white people are racist:

Hacked? He’ll say this at least once before he leaves office, on camera.

Again when did I call "All white people racists."? as you said.

You referred to this post http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=249766134&postcount=371

Here is your reply to another user referring to the tweet above.

This quote is by you...

"When the majority of white people are the ones saying this. Her statement is very valid."

Now if "majority" white people say what the tweet above says they're not racist or they are? I imagine you would agree they are??

You're missing the entire point of my reply to you. I'm saying that there are a shit ton of white people on your side and hate Trump as much as you do.

One rally doesn't make a fucking difference when there is still institutional racism. Since you brought up that counter protester rally just remember it took a White woman to die for them to take down statues. When black people get murdered for doing less they still stay up.

Sure because that's the only rally ever where white people showed up to protest people who are racist towards PoC. The fact you bring up the white woman who died while protesting against white supremacy to make your point is..I don't even know...ironic? Disgusting? But hey, I'll tag along. I'm sure she was complicit in that institutional racism because of her skin color and she would totally have been against Kaepernick or other people protesting. Not.

Hey look, someone is proving my point. I'm not white. Sorry to tell you. Do you have another point to make or are you finished, because that was kinda lazy. I'm not assuming you're black beause you disagree with my post btw. Strange how that works.

It seems weird to me to get mad when the blanket term "white people" gets thrown around. I'm white, and I've never felt defensive about that, mostly based on the fact that I assume I'm exempt from the statement on account of the fact that I'm not a piece of shit

For not being white you're sure acting fragile. I am white btw.

Pro-tip: the white people on the side of racial justice don't take it personally when someone says "fuck white people." They agree with that statement because it refers to the apathy and complacency of the moderate majority.

Fuck that chart I wouldn't say most white people aren't racist but its a fact they have apathy for black people. Since we still get slaughtered and nothing happens and it doesn't matter the damn president.

Racism doesn’t have to be with malicious intent. That indifference or desire to maintain a racist status quo is also racism.

White people never have to think about being white. That's white privilege.

This is how I would hope its interpreted in discussion but I cant lie and say I haven't seen or heard it be used in a aggressive and overt manner.

CrocMother pretty much has the answer. Same with being "men" in conversations about feminism or gender equality or "straight" or "cisgender" in conversations about LGBTQ+ rights. The people who are most comfortable in their privilege in those groups are also the ones who get the most riled up when blanket terms are used in comparison to people who have self-reflected and acknowlege these discussions are about more than their feelings.

Pro-tip: Then they are idiots because it's by definition a statement that includes every single white person on earth yes, you as well. You have people in this thread that call you an "alleged" ally because of your skin color. If you're cool with that, good for you. I wouldn't be, I have too much self respect for shit like that.
Again, I agree with the general point but "White people" doesn't mean "Majority of white people." It never does. That's why we have language, to articulate what we mean.

Wamb0wneD...
I'm pretty sure you know. It derails the thread though it seems, so I'll stop now. If anybody wants to discsuss any of this I'll gladly do so via PM. Gonna be away for a few hours though.
