Yeah, the short-form submission fee is chump change relative to all the other costs involved. It'll help tiny indie outfits release digital games on platforms that require ESRB ratings, sure, but the likes of Capcom, Konami, etc aren't suddenly gonna open the floodgates now that they no longer have to pay a three-figure sum for an age rating.

The VC is dead because the customer base has dried up and most of the big eligible releases that might plausibly show up on the VC are already out.

They still have the Zelda GBC games not to mention GBA games. Lot they could still do with VC we just need an account system.

Yeah the blur option was really neat. It's worth owning just to see the emulation in action. I am so ashamed to admit I used savestates in the final dungeon: a 12 hour game turned into a 30 minute game...

That last level is insanely long and complicated compared to the 1st 4 stages. Good luck getting past some rooms if you die and lose your ninjutsu reserve.

I'm almost through NightSky. It's a great little title, I'm enjoying it a lot (although it should have been a little cheaper)

yeah i'd instabuy at 5, but considering I just bought bioshock for 10, I can't really justify that price.

I'm looking for a quick play game, preferably something action-y or sports. I have my eyes on Family Tennis 3D, which looks like an average tennis game but my nephew will like it. Any recommendations?

Really? Comparing the price of a game that was released 5 years ago to a game that was just released last week? (I know it came out a while ago on PC, but it's a new game for 3DS owners.) Not that I disagree about NightSky being overpriced (mainly due to it being a short game), but that's just a silly comparison.

I was basing this on the fact that Nightsky did come out a while ago as well.

+Whatever decent VC stuff we get. (Where the hell is Shantae?)

Pretty great line-up for the next couple of months.

I do hope we get some more of the low-key Japanese stuff like RabiXLaby 3D, PicDun 2 and Bloody Vampire.

Man, the UK Download offereings have been pretty lame lately, save for Mega Man. I would rally appreciate a date for Denpa Men. I have a feeling I'm going to love that...
