They've been a magazine for 20 years, are well known and have been accurate in the past. Not sure what's going on but they're far from "no name".
Well, I wanted to go shopping now anyway. If no one else has the magazine at hand, I'll try to verify his story (if I find the magazine, that is).
I very much doubt that the magazine is lying though, it's more likely that "his sources" are made up. M! Games is normally pretty reliable and will celebrate this its 20th year on the market this year. Faking a preview would be a first for them.

Obviously there's something misleading going on here, but let's assign the blame fairly. The guy who created this thread is entirely to blame for jumping the gun with a super fanboy angle on second and third hand information though.

Pretty sure ND claimed there were no control issues with Uncharted 3. Fortunately, a few Gaf members were able to pay them a visit to point out to them their error (which was originally denied), and ND later fixed it in a patch.
Although I have a ton of faith in ND, I think this week has been a good lesson for not always taking devs at their word.

Sounded promising. I liked a lot of the concepts described in the OP. Turns out that it is all likely fake and now this sounds like a mess of epic proportions.
No disrespect, but until someone from Germany got to this thread no one had heard of them.
So yeah, they seem like a pretty no name publication in the grand scheme.

Really looking forward to this game. Uncharted 3 left me a bit underwhelmed, but I think that's mostly because 2 was imo one of the best games this gen.
