Nintendo Downloads - March 2013

I wouldn't play it if I bought it right now.

I have a bunch of stuff like that. Have four games (three still wrapped) that I haven't even touched already downloaded. The good part of this is that if you wait, there's always the off-chance that it might end up on a sale. Worked with Crashmo!

If I didn't find RE:R at GameStop for $20 new a couple weeks ago and paid full price, I'd be pissed. :lol Capcom gets it though -- this is a great price!

Wants the largest console games publisher to avoid Nintendo's platforms.
"Once the save data is moved to the downloadable version, it cannot be returned to the Game Card. Save data on the Game Card will be reset to default."

Rats.

Has somebody tried the Transfer Tool with RE Mercenaries? Being a slightly different version (the download one allows you to delete the savegame) I don't know if it works. Having a locked savegame in the original cart version might conflict too...

Edit: is Code of Princess worth those 30€? screw it, I got it, will post some impressions and stuff when it's done and I manage to play for a bit.

Didn't have it already, heard mixed things about it.

It's a good game. Nice graphics, and pretty atmospheric at the start. Gets a bit haywire towards the end like a normal resident evil game these days but it's not a bad thing!

Plays really good with the CPP but if you don't have one then gyroscope controls are a great alternative. The 3D doesn't add anything so it would be better to disable it. Sunk about 19 hours on my first play through so its pretty substantial overall with fun characters and usual cheesefest dialogue. Have fun!

Yeah, at $20 even "mixed" is looking like a buy for me. Was wondering if I should wait for the Wii U version but that'll likely be $50/60, so 3DS it is. :D

Decided to pass on £24 Code of Princess for now; I'll wait until it goes on sale.

Fire Emblem demo was great; damn you Americans for already having the full game :p

I did buy HarmoKnight though; it's pretty good so far.

I did the complete opposite. Harmoknight looks great but I'm too good with rhythm games and I fear I will destroy it in half an afternoon like I do with pretty much any game in this genre that reaches my hands.

From Nicalis' twitter:

To all our friends in Europe, We haven't forgotten about you. Cave Story has been approved. Need a good release date.

I guess they're talking about the 3DS version. lol

What's the default MSRP for 3DS games in Euroland?

45€ - 40 pounds, but you only find those pricetags at Game, Gamestop and similar retailers. Most other places like Mediamarkt have them for 35-38€ and most stuff can be bought online from the UK at 30 pounds or less.

I would love to get Cave Story for 3DS if it was on sale... damn I'm getting cheaper every day. Oy. Its just $10 bucks in the eShop... and I have it for PC already through Steam. But its portable, so...

Damn, Capcom USA gets it. I'd double dip on 3DS if I wasn't already getting the PS3 release.

The JP eShop has a small ongoing sale on it that ends after this month, after which, it goes to selling for full price.

If all DLC came tied to $13 figurines, I'd consider all DLC to be free
The Revelations price difference really sucks....probably because the game was published by Nintendo in europe, still shitty :-/

No excuse not to. The single player campaign is lengthy and online raid mode is awesome. The action sequences can seem somewhat shoehorned in at times, but the overall experience is wonderful.

Still probably my third or fourth favorite 3DS game behind Fire Emblem, Luigi's Mansion and Kid Icarus.

And both easily worth $20, IMO.
This man speaks the truth. I've dumped another 9 hours into Mercs since downloading it. Perfect to always have with you.

I hope Ace Combat, Dead or Alive and Rhythm Thief get the same treatment too. (Rhythm Thief should have been a $15-$20 eShop game from day one.)
