I really wanted more Uncharted.
I'm feeling that it's gonna be about William Kidd. He is connected to the Cape of Good Hope, Madagascar, and Ile Sante-Marie (rumored to have atleast visited Libertatia) and considering that Il Sante-Marie is specifically marked as well as the quote "For God and Liberty" being written on the map, I think it is a safe bet that Libertatia will factor into the story.

Naughty Dog is up for awards for TLOU so it's the best time to show it off.

TLOU managed to take full advantages from PS3 hardware, often doing much GPU work on SPUs. Porting the game on PS4 will not be easy.

Didn't they have a teaser like this for Uncharted 3 about two weeks before the VGAs, then at the VGAs, they showed a real trailer? (VGA 2010) Maybe they are doing that again? (without the release date of course) I'm not getting my hopes up, though.

As a lot of people have already shown what a load of bs the main point of your comment i want to point out that bolded is bs too. They never said anything about making the second team because people were tired of UC. They did it because they had so much talent in the studio that by giving them their own project they were less likely to leave for other jobs. Basically like promoting giving more responsibility at a workplace to keep the workers happy

Yeah the negativity on developers decisions is really getting annoying. If naughty dog wants to do uncharted let em do it.. It makes the most sense. I'm sick of the complaining. You guys think it's that easy to make a new Ip every time and make it economically viable? Err.. We wouldn't have Final fantasy 7,
MGS3, Shenmue 2, COD4,... if they listened to you complain. Sequels are meant to make the previous installment better. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't... But don't judge their decisions.. I would have preferred Cerny to make Crash sequel instead of Knack for example. New ip is as much hit or miss as a sequel...

They already showed two first party new IPs with DriveClub and Knack. Second party new IP like Resogun too. THEY HAVE GIVEN YOU NEW IPS AND WILL GIVE YOU MORE TOO

Either that, or its someone from Sully's past. I would be interested to see a Drake who suddenly feels as if he can't trust the one man who has been a father to him all these years. We have seen that relationship strengthened through 3 games... I wanna see it tested to the breaking point. Sully was a shady guy before Drake. I wouldn't be surprised if he has some dark secret that he doesn't want Drake to uncover because it could destroy their relationship.

Good observation. Since ND has a thing for using famous explorers Vasco da Gama might fit the picture somehow in this game given the locations as you mentioned
And we know that Santa Monica and Guerrilla are working on new IP.
With that attitude you don't deserve a new IP

Don't mind me, I just want new stuff, and not the same damn game we've been offered since 2007.
Ignoring a new ip because it's a "car" game and because one ends up being a flop even though any new ip can end up sucking. The Order 1886 can be a horrible on rails shooter.

But seriously, I am disappointed that Knack is doing so poorly in reviews. I was really looking forward to that game.
My exact sentiments as well.
They have 2 teams, why not make another Uncharted, hopefully the other Team is on a New IP, then once uncharted is done and new ip, Last of US 2 (different chars if needed)
