The qte work well. Executions are so Damn heavy. Chopped a guys arm off, stabbed him thru the head then kicked a ladder Down with ppl coming off it then said "xbox fire volley" and my catapult squad reaked havok. It's like a fucking war in here.

While playing Ass Creed: Black Flag I was always yelling "Open Fire" when I was raiding a ship. It would be so badass if they the Xbox One version of the game did that.

This is not "constantly hammering on that stuff", but discussing new information. The fact Microsoft didn't mention these problems in their pre launch marketing is obvious, that's why we only know about them now.

And this isn't about one console vs. another, but discussing the merits of Xbone. Just, in direct comparison, PS4 comes out looking much better.

The fact reasonable and true criticism and highlighting of issues with the system bother you this much pretty much tells me everything I need to know: Your confidence in the Xbox actually delivering on its promises is very low.

And from what I've played, I'd be highly surprised if Ryse turns out to be anything but a bad game: There's a reason MS have set the embargo for just two hours prior to launch.

But man its gonna suck for games with long ass titles like

Not during games. If the game has prompts it'll listen for this regardless. You would only new to say Xbox to move through snap or open another application system features etc.

"Hoping for a better future". There's no reason to assume all issues will be resolved in some magical future patch (for some the hardware just isn't sufficient, the lack of an encoding unit means game DVR exports will always take a long time for short clips), and people should know what they are spending money on for launch day.

What matters for the moment is what we'll get on launch day. And standby power draw seems to be in the 15-19 Wh range.

It's the first time I've ever been in on a console launch day one, always late and only now collecting the snes and the megadrive etc that I never got as a child. First console was a second hand playstation one which I bought with one of my brothers. Since then my xbox, playstation 2, gamecube, xbox 360 and wii have all been a couple of years into the generation and this is the first time I've been day one. 2 of my brothers are collecting their from gamestop so not having it Friday will not be good

What is your endgame? we all know this stuff. You are not discussing anything, you are just listing problems that will either get fixed or are not real problems. If it's not about One vs PS4 then why bring up the PS4 at all?

My god the fire effects in this are incredible. I can't take photos cos I have to pause. Combat is kinda like Assassins Creed with parries etc. It looks and sounds so Damn amazing. After the install finishes gonna download killer instinct and forza overnight. It's getting late here and I have work tomorrow :/
