Famous Mortimer has an even better track record than CBOAT actually, or at least did for a while. Secondly, you'd be a fool to ignore these insider claims because of the few times they're wrong, since they're still far more accurate than they're not, overall. In fact, they're often more accurate than Microsoft PR and heads, what with their constant 180's, and people like Greenberg telling us Microsoft will not go back on certain policies, only for them to change the next day. Then you have people like Major Nelson and Albert Penello fluffing up numbers and making mistakes on tech figures, even after consulting their "technical fellows". What does that say about their tech experts? Point I'm making is, in many ways our insiders are actually more reliable than Microsoft PR itself, and that's one other reason why we ought to put stock in to what they have to say.
What I find is that it's generally Microsoft 'enthusiasts' who don't like to read in to what these insiders have to say or try to constantly discredit them, for obvious reasons, as often the leaks aren't the best news and often do Microsoft's image harm, despite all the evidence there is by now to trust in these guys, and the fact that they are or have confirmed sources.
Also, I do find it funny proelite PM'd you to ask if you work for Microsoft, that's quite telling...
