Living with my crush/best friend for the next 2 weeks

That OP was initially so excited/anxious about the chance to spend lots of alone time with his "crush/best friend" but now thinks the highlight of the experience so far has been watching Code Geass with her mother amuses me to no end.

Can't wait to see what comes next.

Why the long case?
I realize the OP claims this isn't a thread about trying to infiltrate their way into being noticed by a crush, but sometimes I want to just scream in these threads: "DROP IT!"

Sometimes you have to take no for an answer, and leave some room in your life to have one of those amazing moments where you lock eyes with someone new for the very first time, and just feel the energy of a mutual curiosity. You can feel it in your bones.

Pursuing someone that is either unaware of your feelings or actively opposing them seems like the most draining, depressing, hell of a life. Then again, I had a crush for a significant portion of my early life tell me all people she would fuck that aren't me, so perhaps I learned my lesson.

I'm starting to think this entire thing is fake.

"Yeah guys it's going super well and I got the entire family watching my favorite anime".

This thread will keep going on and it'll just be about watching all his favorite animes with this imaginary family, enlightening them to his ways, before they beg him to take their daughter/sister immediately and start a life together.

Then she'll still reject him, but OP will leave that house a god damn hero. A swole one too, from all the working out together.

OP is not fake, it's all too real.

People always imagine a "you won't believe what happened to me at a friend's house..." Penthouse/Playboy stories with this kind of setup, but reality is a harsh mistress. Regular times will be had with the family, OP's a good friend, never comes close to any sort of sexual tension with the crush and stays in the friend zone forever, case closed, everyone moves on with their life.

Yeah, OP wakes up one morning to find her curled up asleep on to of him. She wakes up, gets all flustered and insists she slept-walked into his room. She slaps him, calls him a pervert and baka before storming off with a face redder than Jupiter's giant spot.

If you could pick one anime to force people to awkwardly watch over the course of a week you picked Geass?! Please tell me that you won't force them to watch the second season at least, or at least not immediately. Other than the final episode for story it's just mech porn and fan service. Disappointed that the OP is torpedoing his chances here... at least that's what I'd say if I didn't think the whole plan is terrible, so, hey, whatever keeps the drama low I guess that's fine?

Now: So I was recently hired for a company that is pretty close to her house. Due to my apartment lease not beginning until later this month, she offered to let me stay at her house with her family. Her mom is out of the house most of the time (spends the night at her BF's) and her brother is about to move to college this week so it'd be mostly just me, her, and her dogs in the house. I thought about it for a few weeks and concluded it'd be worth to save the couple of thousands of dollars and live with her.

Have any of ya'll been in a similar situation? Let me be clear that my intention is to not get with her or anything these next 2 weeks. I just want to spend some quality time with her/not make anything awkward, perhaps become better friends. I'm already going to be at work majority of the day so it's really only a couple of hours everyday I'm anxious about. Any DOs/DONTs do ya'll have to offer?
