The mobile Assassin's Creed-spin off Assassin's Creed: Utopia has been canceled. Ubisoft Netherlands has confirmed this to the Dutch videogame website Gamer.nl.

(It's in Dutch, feel free to translate it but Ubi hasn't given any reason for canceling the game).

It would've been a strategic game in the colonial period in the United States. The game would've had a multiplayermode in which players could help each other or fight each other in battles. The game was announced last year at Ubisoft's Digital Days.

I hope they won't cancel the Assassin's Creed game that you can play on your toaster and the one that you can play inside your fridge

Man, I really worry if this means something bad for Assassin's Creed 5 :/
