Nah those were up by the dam... I forget which dam. Behind Mt Wellington, I think.

Lucky. The Richmond Ducks are walking, quacking weapons. I saw them attack a small human female one day over a loaf of bread. They were relentless. Surrounded the poor thing, screaming demands at her, remorselessly.

Oh, I assure you. I am well versed in the horrors of the Richmond ducks. When I was little, me and my cousin went there with a moldy loaf of bread from the baker's. We were ambushed, man. Nowhere to run. Ducks on one side, ducks on the other side. I said to my cousin, I said, "It's the bread or us!". He knew as well as I that we had only one option, one chance. I unwrapped the bread loaf and threw it as far as I could. The ducks swarmed and raged as an untamed fire, scorching the bread as they went. We escaped that day. We escaped the ducks of Richmond park.

And had some lollies afterwards.

Photos of AusGAF people!

Recently, I went to Warwick Castle and got drunk in costumes with friends. It was a medieval themed ball. It's 'dress-up' not 'cosplay'.

The actors, food and tour were terrible. TERRIBLE.

I dressed up as a wizard because of a commitment to a video game podcast meme that has entertained me for years.

We drank too much and gatecrashed a far more interesting party which we were all kicked out of whilst still in costume.

lol My son woke up this morning only to stand in the lounge room, point at his bottom and say "poop". Quick change of a nappy and next thing he grabs his blanket and bunny rabbit, trots back to his room and jumps back in bed. Thanks buddy, more video game time!

Also now I need some steak too. Covered in bacon.

Someone needs to explain cards of humanity to omi. I attempted to on melbgaf, But failed.

Easy.

I seem to recall there was someone at MelbGAF who hadn't seen this, so in honour of Patrick Stewart being at Comic-Con, I present to you:
Patrick Stewart in Extras

Also, I officially have a cold. Light runny nose Friday night/Saturday morning, sneezing during the day yesterday, woke up all blocked up today :(

Case: Fractal Design Define R3 Black USB 3.0 – $138.00 (I really like the minimalistic look of this case)
It's nice, just remember it's smaller than a mid tower, so it's going to be slightly harder to build. As long as you're patient you should be fine. You'll also need to make sure future upgrades are going to fit. That coolermaster cooler will only have 6mm to spare for eg.

PSU: Corsair TX-650M Modular Power Supply – $129.00 OR
Corsair HX-650 Power Supply – $129.00 (What is the difference, is one preferable over the other, is the HX also modular, will this be enough power for this rig?)
Since you're going with a smaller case, definitely get the modular PSU. 650w is more than enough.

HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB ST2000DM001 – $119.00 (I was told to avoid the WD green lol)
Avoid the WD green for a boot drive, but it makes for a nice quiet low power media drive.

What about wifi and Bluetooth support, any suggestions here?
This board comes with an add-on card that has both: http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=19991

The board has wifi: http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=138_711_1183&products_id=19884

I don't know if this is all you need for Bluetooth support: http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=6186

Also, how easy is it for you to get to Sydney? Was thinking it might be easier to get it from a Sydney supplier in case you have a faulty part. You could potentially drop it in rather than have to ship it back.

Hey guys, a 19 year old isn't too young, right?
Going on the half plus seven rule, if you're 25 and she's 19.5 it's ok. If you mean relationship wise, the rest comes down to her maturity I guess. It might be fun for a while, but those immature things you consider cute now are going to piss you off in a few months.

Mr Joyce had begun speaking about the merits of the bill and the need for greater water efficiency about 9pm on Tuesday when sources said he was "distracted" by the sight of fellow Nationals Senator McKenzie, who was sitting a few feet away.

"Madam acting deputy president McKenzie, you are looking wonderful tonight," he said. "You are a flash bit of kit in this chamber, there is no doubt about you."

Sources said an embarrassed Ms McKenzie tried to interject before Mr Joyce continued with his commentary.

"It is non contro. Roll with me on this," he said

Ugh.

So fun times last night in Brisbane.

After going to a few bars around the Valley last night, I thought I'd go into the X&Y Bar, hadn't been there in a while, let's see what going on.

Get to the front of the line, bouncer checks out my driver's license, but instead of letting me through he puts me to the side.

After some fooling around with a book, he's now claimed that my Adelaide Driver's License looks like a forgery, and that they're going to have to confiscate it as they send it off to the police.

This is some super bullshit. It's not fake, why would I need a fake ID? It's just baffling me. But it means that my night's at an end, as I can't get in anywhere. I also assume I can't drive now until I receive my returned license in the mail once they realize they've made a mistake? How long will that take? If I drove, what officer in the right mind would believe me?

Even went down to the Valley Police Station and asked what can I do, and they said they can't do anything right now. Fair enough, and they give me a signed note asking X&Y for a receipt saying they've taken it (They didn't have one), so yay.

I was thinking about having a Dry July anyway. Hopefully I can still get my way into the BrisGAF meetup at the Bav.

This is complete bullshit.

I had this happen to me in Melbourne about 4 years ago, the bouncer at the casino was basically trying to cut it in half.

For those that do not know, the adelaide license is basically made by sticking two bits of plastic on top of eachother, so for idiots, it looks like some ones stuck another layer over the top, or cut it in half then glued it back together.

they stood there for like 10 minutes trying to rip my license in two, thankfully some older men were walking past and they heard me go on about thats how adelaide licenses are made and please dont rip it in two. and they walked over (all from adelaide) and produced their licenses, all of which were the same as mine.

Someone tried to use my VISA to book stuff on Qatar airways. Then they tried to charge to a hotel in America. So now I need to get a new card. Woo. Luckily it was picked up before any money actually went out so that's good, I don't need to dispute the transactions or something.

VOOK

We don't know why he keeps buying PAL, either.
Hey guys, a 19 year old isn't too young, right?

Only problem with 19 year old girls is that two years ago they were 17 and in that time most of them haven't matured a single bit.

Emotionally insecure and all.

Yeah I'm 21 and probably have the maturity of a 19 year-old!

At least that's what I like to think.

Oz Comic-Con Melbourne has been pretty shit.

Bad line management. They shut the doors so paying people couldn't get in. Way to small an area for the number of people. I could go on.

Having said that, had a better time today than yesterday.

Also the Adelaide one was fucking awesome, they knew what they were doing. Melbourne just dun goof'd
