Yeah when I heard Batman in Orgins my mind went to Resident Evil .

This. He's been Batman to me for 23 years.. Crazy. I still remember getting home from school to watch Batman:TAS.

Roger Craig Smith did a decent job in Origins, but Conroy is the Batman.

I more meant there are times in Origins where Smith is straight up yelling but it works for him. I just don't find the direct comparison between Smith and Comroy to hold much water, different takes on the character and all.

They game is good too, I'll never understand the hate towards Origins. It improved on some things from the first two Arkham games.

Plus Troy Baker made a great Joker, and it made Batman feel more like a detective.

Conroy is great in TAS, not so good in the Arkham games. For some reason he didn't gel with the medium. Possibly the Voice Director's fault? I dunno.

I thought Roger Craig Smith was a damn sight more convincing.

Even taking that into consideration, I still find Smith's performance achieved what it was going for better than what Conroy's was going for in Asylum/City. Conroy at his best is the best voice for Batman and Bruce Wayne across all mediums, but in the Arkham games it just hasn't been as good as it has elsewhere.

I will appreciate the voice talent while I play this game but I always see hiring big name actors as such a waste of money. There are so many talented unknowns out there that could do a great job for a fraction of the price.

I would pay $20 for a 80s-90s washed up comedians voice pack.

Which is crazy because he even did a much better job with DC Universe Online.

Well, at least Nightwing will actually talk in this one. Not familiar with Scott Porter but I'm sure he'll do a good job. Troy Baker's Nightwing in Injustce was pretty fun but I guess they didn't want him to voice him the entire cast.

Isn't "one main villain gathers the other villains so they can work together to expose Batman" pretty much the plot of every Arkham game? lol
