From the director, whose previous works include Full Metal Panic! and InuYasha, and the studio who brought us Aldnoah.Zero and Space Brothers comes a new show that will buck the trend that many have accused the anime medium of succumbing to and bring us something that is not cute girls doing cute but an action packed thrill ride reminiscent of the shows we remember from the 80s and 90s. This is more your Dirty Pair than your run of the mill Lucky Stars.
The clock strikes midnight and you find a glass slipper, but this isn't a fairy tale and it certainly isn't a happy ending, because in this society it means only one thing, The Cinderella Girls have got your number and it looks like the shoe fits.
An elite team trained to preserve peace, operating in the shadow, the Cinderella Girls are what every girl wants to be in this rundown society.
The show follows the lives of young females who want to become members of this task force, but of course getting one of the few select places is no easy task. They'll have to face though battles and overcome excruciating obstacles to prove their worth. Only then will they be worthy of being a Cinderella Girl.
