http://www.redbull.com/sg-en/dirt-4-interview-red-bull-gamesPaul Coleman: With regards to VR, its something that we will be looking at once weve seen peoples reaction to DiRT Rally on PSVR.
They've been answering people on Facebook:
This should be in the OP!

Bit disappointed the team weren't working on a road/production car game. I mean, DR hasn't been out that long, and what is this going to do different? I hope they improve the wheel feedback in this one, it was awful in DR. Not a fan of the physics of DR either.
Honestly, I was disappointed with the FFB on Dirt Rally too, but the physics is amazing! What's wrong with it? =oBit disappointed the team weren't working on a road/production car game. Dirt Rally now Dirt 4 they are smashing them out. Hopefully there is less gymkhana but "Stage" sounds interesting.
Now hopefully they will give us some information soon on when Dirt Rally PSVR will release, i'm impatient.
"Isn't going to be an issue, pal."
Damn, that ether.
"Ken Block hasn't been anywhere near it, don't worry"
That shade.
Awesome, those Facebook answers are really encouraging. No gymkata crap, even better sim physics are in. Yessssssss!
I sincerly hope console versions will run @60fps.
Cant see pics at work, dying to know what they say. Anyone mind posting them?
I loved the Gymkhana stuff, I'd often load up Dirt 3 just to boot a car around the arena for 20 minutes or so to blow off steam.
Also, I loved the hyper-real, super saturated visuals of the previous Dirt games, maybe not massively realistic but so so pretty.
I can't begin to explain how disappointed I was with Rally, having spent hours and hours each with the previous games I deleted it after an hour or two. What the fuck was that handling model man? It's like there was an opposing magnet pushing against the bonnet of your car, constantly veering you off course. And the pace notes? Reams and reams of the stuff, always seemingly delivered about a second too late.
Urgh, that game...awful stuff, I hated it.
I attended the preview event today and can confirm that it does run at 60fps on PS4... sort of. The HUD elements were definitely 60fps, however, the game seemed to dip at times depending on the amount of action on the screen.
Unfortunately, direct capture was not available. I'm uploading a video of purely gameplay (word of warning: I am terrible). If anyone is interested in seeing my early impressions you can check it out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y1R5erH4Rew
I haven't played any of games in the Dirt series so I can't really comment too much on how it compares to the older games. I can imagine people who own steering wheels are going to love this game.

Ya ya and if it isn't : "nothing of importance was lost"This would actually be a good Switch title imo.
From that video it looks like it's Dirt Rally with an "easy handling" mode and new features.
Should be pretty good, but we'll have to see how much it offres to people who already own Dirt Rally.

Cautiously optimistic. Dirt Rally was was too much for me, so I hope this goes back to Dirt 2 and 3 in terms of feel. And hints and two different styles can keep both sets of fans happy.

Here's another video from Reverb Shock with just gameplay footage.

Shows some of the menus and whatnot as well. Haven't looked at it thoroughly but I believe we get a glimpse of the "Your Stage" thing.
No DLC for DiRT Rally and directly to DiRT 4 ... idk
Also... I had hoped for a new GRID game with a graphics engine helped by the Evolution guys
I'd have been happier if they'd announced Dirt Rally 2, to be honest. Dirt Rally restored my interest in Codemasters games, having grown bored of the Dirt trilogy which tried to shove lots of experiences I had no interest in down my throat. I hope their focus is correct and that there's plenty of core rallying content.
I want a serious rallying game, not some sensationalist tripe. I especially don't want to have to do drifting events.
I loved Dirt and the different classes. I didn't even know about big ass truck racing until then. The gymkhana stuff turned people off, but would have been fine if they had a different career structure or something.
