Look at the Madden "demo" for the 360 & then look at the sales of the actual Madden games, the majority of their consumers simply don't care/have no alternative.

. I'm pretty sure they also did it in 1999/2000 because I remember they slapped a CG pic of a madden game on the cover to PSM and said "ACTUAL PS2 Graphics"

Game sales are front-loaded. Stop acting like that's a validation of how they botched the launch.

It looked like CG to me.
Doesn't even look graphically impressive. But definitely looks like CG.
Edit: Scratch the first sentence. Looked terrible on Stream but it's definitely not bad graphically after watching the youtube video. It's still ugly and the characters doesn't look like they belong on the field.

Yep, so many companies think they can fool people into believing that their cg is real, but it really only makes people harbor ill will against them.
I think that that is what they were going for so that we might buy into it.
