if you are not happy.. join Xbox Live and get two "new" games for free.

What? The deals today are awful, especially the Vita ones.

The PS+ games are good, however, which would be the logical comparison to the Games with Gold.

Last years deals, for reference:
Deal 12: Far Cry 3 – Was £59.99/€69.99, now £24.99/€34.99. Offer expires 11.59pm on 24th December.

Deal 11: Hitman Absolution – Was £49.99/€59.99, now £19.99/€29.99. Additional 15% discount for PS Plus members (£16.99/€25.49). Offer expires 11.59pm on 22nd December.

Deal 10: The Unfinished Swan & Journey bundle – Was £19.98/€25.98, now £9.99/€12.99 (50% off). Additional 10% discount for PS Plus members (£8.99/€11.69). Offer expires 11.59pm on 20th December.

Deal 9: Little Big Planet Karting – Was £39.99/€49.99, now £19.99/€24.99 (up to 50% off). Additional 10% discount for PS Plus members (£17.99/€22.49). Offer expires 11.59pm on 18th December.

Deal 8: Need For Speed Most Wanted – Was £59.99/€69.99, now £23.99/€29.99 (up to 60% off). Offer expires 11.59pm on 16th December.

Since I've had a Vita for a week, my list is quite large of hopefuls. I think these are the most realistic hopes for me:

Spelunky
Everbody's Golf
DOA5+
MGS Peace Walker
Wipeout 2048
Touch My Katamari
Persona 4 Golden (Will also accept discounts on Persona 1 and 2 as I've not played them)
MLB: The Show

Surely one of them will come through. SURELY.

Hoping for some sweet Vita deals, hope I'm not disappointed.

What would I give for a Persona 4 Golden discount...
Deals are only for PS3 games unfortunately

You will be. Sony don't seem to particularly care about putting Vita content on sale. We might get the occasional game or DLC reduction, but it's mostly games everyone already has or ones that Sony have given away free (or are about to) on Plus.

Come on Sony, let's see a proper Vita sale this year...Make me want to rush out and buy another 32gb card. Come on, you know you want to....

And confirmed in the comments to be 12 proper Vita games, no PSP/PS1 games.

This reaffirms what I've said in the Vita monthly thread:

My credit card is ready. Let's burn all my money!

On Vita I'm hoping for:

Soul Sacrifice
Persona 4 Golden
Dragon's Crown
Murumasa Rebirth
Rayman Legends
The Walking Dead
Batman Blackgate

On PS3 I'd like:

GTAV
Assassin's Creed IV
The Wolf Among Us

Uh, I think that's about it. Surely there'll be sales on a few of those.

Is there any hope for a 1 year PS+ deal? There does not seem to be any other christmas deals on PS+ subscriptions in EU, or?
I could actually use 1 year of Music unlimited as well if the price is right (low)

The ad said blockbuster games, so I guess it'll be only games (except the first day might have a ps+ deal like last year).

I'm guessing Last of Us as deal 2 or 12 for PS3 at €24.99

I'll update the first post once the first deal(s) are up. In the meantime, could someone log into the Store via the PS3 and see if they added a section fort he Christmas deals? Last year we were able to guess some through their sillhouttes.

The only thing I remember from last years deals is being annoyed that the Vita was completely ignored, especially when NFS Most Wanted went on sale.

Oh and also a crazy person on GAF trying to claim that the Unfinished Swan/Journey bundle sale meant that Unfinished Swan itself was on sale, even though the bundle price was the exact same as the individual price. That was a super dumb argument and that person should be embarrassed.

1st offer mentionned on the French blog:

http://blog.fr.playstation.com/2013/12/01/les-12-offres-de-nol-offre-n1/

Offre N°1 :

FIFA 14 (PS3)
34,99 euros au lieu de 69,99 euros

FIFA 14 (PS Vita)
24,99 euros au lieu de 49,99 euros

Ugh. Let's hope they're not starting as they mean to go on.

Edit - on the other hand, there's an amazing 'weekend sale' on at the moment. Loads of good prices like Call of Juarez Gunslinger, Aliens Colonial Marines, Terraria and Flashback for under £4. All with an extra Plus discount on top of that. Well worth checking out.
