Well, what do you call this if not backpedalling?
Not the first time it happened.
They're going with IR blaster dongle instead of a integrated IR? Why?
The charge and play battery pack is a replaceable unit. Check out this other video MS released today: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=veanVvMJT_oErr I assumed the controllers would have a rechargeable lithium ion battery built in? Would be pretty dumb if they didnt at this point.
and why is that problem
im pissed of with gaf moaning at ms for making the wrong choices, then when they reverse those choices they still fucking moan cos they chose to reverse
As opposed to a company like, oh I don't know, Sony, who are including a top of the range headset for all your gaming needs.
Come on now.
What? Are you pulling that from your ass?
It's not a problem. It's great. But it's hilarious that they were so backwards in the first place before reversing all this shit. They didn't even realize how stupid they were until the competition started showing them up.
Who the FUCK was in charge over at MS when they decided on some of these ridiculous policies?
Their entire Live infrastructure is so big and successful because they had a headset in every box!
Welcome news.
Remember to thank Sony for this, XBox fans
I'm pretty sure Kinect contains an integrated IR and the blaster is to communicate with your cable box. They're going with IR blaster dongle instead of a integrated IR? Why?
For voice chatting.
Only on the "day one" edition?
Nope. Get those AAs ready!
Don was, but he's gone.Who the FUCK was in charge over at MS when they decided on some of these ridiculous policies?

That is exactly what I said.It is backpedalling.
He didn't mention the RAM size at all
*grabs tinfoil hat*
Very cool unboxing video.
But what's with the IR blaster thingie? Huh?
I thought he said the Kinect was an IR blaster?
There are definitely cheaper HDMI cables that don't have the bandwidth for 3d or 4k.
But don't let facts get in the way of a good rib.
Good on them. Better for the consumer. I still don't trust them.
Only on the "day one" edition?
Only on the "day one" edition?
So is this the big thing that CBOAT was talking about?

Sony fans should have been thanking Microsoft this entire generation then if you can remember what online looked like when PS3 launched.Remember to thank Sony for this, XBox fans
yes but atleast they are admitting mistakes unlike sony with their ps3 and took 6 years correcting themselves.

OK, thanks for clearing that. I've never owned a cable box with that feature. That's what it will use to change the channel on an old cable box.
The idea is that HDMI will control the cable box to change channels, this is not always the case.
