What I know is that there a few tweaks and easy mode.

Lets hope the game gets an awesome modding community though!

With the lack of marketing this port had it's not really surprising that it's just a very basic port of the PS3 game.

I'd also think that whatever they wanted to include in an International version they just used for XIII-2 and LR.

I think there's like 40-60 hrs left since there's more side quests and a open world.

Do it, now you can play together with the rest of us who are replaying it or playing it for the first time.

as someone who likes the game, its about 20 hours long

its really silly, the combat and progression stays locked up throughout that part of the game, and thats where all the linearity people complain about is. Once you get through all of that the combat and world open up really well. Gran Pulse is amazing to explore and the paradigm shift system is fantastic once all your characters have access to all 6 jobs

Apparently not! I remember at Dreamhack, Stockholm, I spent almost the entire event (3 days) at the Namco Bandai booth, replaying the Dark Souls 2 demo over and over again. I think I spent a total of 40 hours there. The entire event is like 72 hours.

At least the guys at Namco seemed to like me!

I just played through it on console and beat it on Sunday morning. I don't think I'll do it again anytime soon. So glad it's over.

It's a pretty game at times but not even close to being a great Final Fantasy game.

Its so weird how this re-launch is making me feel all nostalgic, even though this isnt even that old of a game. I just remember searching like crazy for streams during the japanese launch and being absolutely amazed at how good the game looked even in that shitty stream quality. :') good times.

Also, I really hope I win one of the copies on the giveaway because I am in no condition to buy games right now, sadly. But even if I dont I will consider replaying it on PS3 just because.

I'm pretty sure that only Asia/Japan Steam will get both, I think we get English only.

That being said, I suppose that is one of the mods we could expect if they don't support it.
