Hyper sent me some in the epic shipment of sweets last year that were interesting. The cookie part was not very sweet, and kind of fluffy, which served as a backdrop to some very strong dark chocolate one side was dipped in. A bit like one of the Pepperidge Farms cookies but less sweet and with actual good chocolate. Really good stuff.

need to get some now.

Something that I didn't see pointed out before from those "walkthrough" Haven videos is that your reticle actually turns red on holograms. That wasn't in Reach right? I'm not totally sure because no one uses that armor ability, ever.

My solution to one-sided objective games has always been two timed rounds (say 5 minutes), unlimited scoring. Played it many times in customs of the years in Halo and it is a vastly superior experience to the 4 round, single score setup.
That also sounds pretty tight. The only problem that I can see possibly arising from that is perhaps the game can result in a tie a tad too often. (Just say the game ends up being 16-16). IMO something needs to be changed if ties occur more than even 1% of the time. But this is where I ask you: how often did you experience ties? Or was there a feature in the game that dealt with ties somehow?

The only times when there would be a tie in a stopwatch gametype would be when both teams cap in the exact same time (down to a fraction of a second) and also in the scenario when both teams fail to cap. The former is extremely rare from my experience playing RTCW, and the latter can be easily avoided by making it harder defend (possibly done by increasing the time of the rounds or altering the weapon spawns).

Oh, and I wholeheartedly agree that a two-round set up is the way to go.

They happen, but certainly dramatically less than in the four round setup that they currently have in matchmaking.

If you want that controller, it doesn't come with the console either :/

If you want to have everything you need to buy the Xbox bundle, the extra controller (3 controllers total) and the limited edition game.

If only the bundle had one of each type of controller and the limited edition :(

Digging the UNSC controller, especially if it has the same blue LED lights.
does it?
Won't be getting a new console until next gen, provided my 5 year old curvy 360 is still chugging along.

Controller looks too nice to use. Will buy and keep sealed.

I was a bit tipsy browsing here last night after the Haye fight, did I read that there's some sort of prestige mode for specialisations?

Shopto have the console and controller up for pre-order.

Although, they have got the wrong picture for the controller on the site.

Amazing timing too, my controller's right stick is so wonky.

My controller at the moment, left stick drifts amazingly, LB squeaks, and best of all, the right trigger sometimes acts up, therefore when I'm shooting with the sniper, sometimes, it will do 2 rapid shots instead of one.

I love that controller.

I have problems like that, but the right stick is literally broken. I'll be playing and it will be just fine one moment and then the next it doesn't let me turn right. You can probably see how this would be a problem.

You guys need to buy tripods, and stop recording on spoons.

Nice.

Also, ugh at that pistol.gif
Looks so bad... Tell me again why i shouldn't choose to start with the plasma pistol, it at least offers some utility in form of EMP.

Jump to the back of the waiting for videos queue. You are 9756th in line.

We have had plenty of videos! That epic video taken in a barn, (with an awesome soundtrack), Halo4Followers round up of the GameInformer stuff and now an offscreen video of 2 assassinations. Some would say we are being spoiled for information! Im really hoping for an assassination montage before the game comes out, that will really hype me up for the gameplay!

Besides the games probably in a really unfinished state right now, they probably don't even know what's in the limited edition of the game themselves, how are they supposed to tell us that stuff.

...Im mostly just being a dick, I suppose they did throw us a bone with all those MLG videos, but why do they insist on showing such a small subsection of the sandbox? It feels like they are just showing us the more passive stuff. A single Jetpack would have totally changed the flow of those matches. The lack of information and the very careful way they show us subsections of the game does have me slightly worried.

What is the whole Hyper hoodie story anyways? I think a lot of us here would love a 343 hoodie.
Have you NOT been reading the thread?
are you barfing at how shallow the pistol's clip is? or how bad that guy's aim is?

I thought he was talking about how the player isn't knocked out of scope when shot.

Cyren, I put those walkthrough videos up on Waypoint. I'll watch them later. I haven't had much time to catch up on the thread for the past couple of days. :(

I would LOVE to have that Silentium/Thursday War poster, Biggy, or one of those signed posters of Jen Taylor and Steven Downes. (But wouldn't we all?)

Glad you guys had a good time, Domino, Biggy, and monkey!

In regards to flag carrying, I just wanted the movement speed to stay normalized while holding it. Just from what I gathered from it, whipping out a pistol the moment you have a flag seems clumsy. Any word on player speed while holding?

Limited Edition Halo 4 360 comes with Standard Edition Halo 4. I want Limited Edition Halo 4. I also want Limited edition H4 360.

Don't make me choose.

Okay, I got 3 minutes and 30 seconds in, the guy can't aim for the life of himself and they both paused to remember the name of the DMR.

This is not a walkthrough, this is two people learning how to play the game.
Dude, it's not that bad. We've seen much much worse from the gaming press.

Hmmm, that Halo controller doesn't have the sexy new ringed grips on the sticks. I kind of wanted to try those.
