That Skyrim, above all else, is not coming at launch, or even summer, but in Autumn, should ring a bell to everyone. And EA could have prepared a quick and dirty job for FIFA, 2K as well, but instead these are coming in 6 months time.
This thing was shown to most developers back at E3... it is the definition of a soft launch. Nintendo is banking on strong marketing, a very unique concept, and of course Zelda, to start building a user base. The situation is a little bit better with indies, since they're more flexible and porting is easier. This holiday will be the real stress test for the third party content.
Mind you, I don't think the Switch has enough horsepower to run most of the AAA blockbusters, but we might see some interesting stuff in a few months.
