Go cry somewhere else.
Someone just told him the same thing in another thread, I wonder where he is suppose to go.

People saying power doesn't matter... well lets just say I wonder about their motivations.
They've released specs but didn't go into any details about it. It's pretty much the VGleaks Durango specs we all know.
Yeah, it makes me wonder would the tone be the same if the roles were reversed?
Pertaining to this messianic cloud, will it bestow the extra 30x power on cheapskates who stick with silver?
The roles would be reversed.
There is no silver, only gold..and you will pay!
Less powerful than the Wii U?As long as their are good games who cares if the system is less powerful than WII U. Gaf is so disappointing sometimes. Its like really who gives a @$#@ if the system is not powerful. Does that mean you wont get good games? NO
Wut?
There is no silver, only gold and you will pay.
Less powerful than the Wii U?
The point he trying to make is, it doesn't matter how powerful it is.
Where does this "cloud" leave developing for a fixed hardware?
Wut?
Seriously though, did they really say that? As in non paying individuals won't be able to use the system?
ps4 7 cores for gaming
xbox 6 cores for gaming?
I was just watching the Xbox Architecture panel and at 26:25 its said that XB1 has over 200gbps of data running on XB1.
How much was PS4's?
176gb/s for the 8gb of GDDR5 ram.
So am I missing something? If XB1 is running over 200 gbps. Is that better than 176?
Im fine with it being more powerful. Im buying all systems. Day 1 for both consoles
They fluffed their numbers and lied. Their main ram runs at 68GB/s. Not 200. And no you can't just add it up like that. The Esram may run at 102Gbps or whatever it is, but it's still only 32mb worth...
Just not fine with people talking about it being more powerful, it appears.
So am I missing something? If XB1 is running over 200 gbps. Is that better than 176?
So that guy who is part of the silicon maker is lying about over 200 gbps of data? Have you watched the architecture panel?
Wouldn't be the first time. I mean if we look back, the hardware engineer for 360 said it had 1TFLOP of power...oh and 270GB/s+ of bandwidth.
Funky math is funky.

I dont see the benefit of that guy in the panel lying about what he and his team have worked so hard to create.

If you think that's a lie then the stickers they put on the side of power supplies are lying to you. They just added peak CPU BW to peak GPU bandwidth, much like power supplies you better not count on pulling down peak draw all the time or you're headed for trouble.
Im not a genius about hardware or anything. Im just curious as to why a team or guy who is part of the making of the system would outright lie about everything that is said. How can we believe anything from anyone if we dont take what they say with truth?
Its like saying Cerny said there was 8gb of DDR5 of ram but we dont have the system in our hands and see the ram so how do we know thats true? He is spinning the truth and is lying.

According to their data, theres roughly 50GB/s of bandwidth in each direction to the SoCs embedded SRAM (102GB/s total bandwidth). The combination of the two plus the CPU-GPU connection at 30GB/s is how Microsoft arrives at its 200GB/s bandwidth figure, although in reality thats not how any of this works. If its used as a cache, the embedded SRAM should significantly cut down on GPU memory bandwidth requests which will give the GPU much more bandwidth than the 256-bit DDR3-2133 memory interface would otherwise imply. Depending on how the eSRAM is managed, its very possible that the Xbox One could have comparable effective memory bandwidth to the PlayStation 4. If the eSRAM isnt managed as a cache however, this all gets much more complicated.
Edit: i'll simplify my commentIm not a genius about hardware or anything. Im just curious as to why a team or guy who is part of the making of the system would outright lie about everything that is said. How can we believe anything from anyone if we dont take what they say with truth?

If I work for many years on a product or a part of a product. Im not going to lie about what Ive done and what its capable of doing. Sadly your right and there are those who lie. As a business/professional its sad to know this. I just hope we see a solid product. I can honestly say Im pumped for both Sony and MS
Is the jump from 360 to One really not good enough?
Is the jump from 360 to One really not good enough?
Was the jump from the Wii to the WiiU good enough?
It's not about "good enough", it's comparing hardware in order to speculate about what's going to happen next gen. The Wii didn't get a lot of the popular games that the PC/360/PS3 got because it wasn't comparable in power. It's possible that the Xbone will be lacking enough compared to the PC/PS4 that some game won't be able to run on it, this would obviously impact a lot of peoples decision to buy it. That's all this talk boils down to.
I'm really looking forward to e3 and seeing how Sony's power advantage pans out. Will the law of diminishing returns kick in and the differences be marginal or will there be a technical gulf even the layman can perceive? I'm a Sony fan so I'm leaning to the later. I'll hold off on conclusions though until we see the exclusives at e3.
Yeah, I don't think that's going to happen. They'll just baseline it out on X1 and hopefully use the extra juice in the PS4 for some improvements (frame rate, IQ, effects, etc).
Reiko continues to live within us.Could it have been possible (or mattered) if Xbox got bumped to 10-12GB of RAM?
All the Xbone hate is starting to get a bit old, I can see a full revert to Xbone love within a week..
What I expect is the difference between details in individual models and textures won't be very high between the platforms, but the scope will be where we see the difference. Environment size and detail, number of detailed entities, etc.
