Fuck yeah Hachiken. And good luck.
And I would not mind one bit if the story gets extended into college.

Well, I guess Class E will lose :/

Nobunaga No Chef 6

So, the drama kept the arrow thing but the scene was so different aside from this detail. He also cooked a different dish for the soldiers.

And when I said that the drama really did its best to put Natsu everywhere, I was not kidding. Damn. She disguised herself as a soldier to follow Ken.

The manga should have really followed the drama there.

Yeah, I think it's cool to see Natsu, she's a pretty cool character.
Also, it really seems like the ninja girl is a drama-only character. Maybe she'll appear later but...

Ping Pong, Zero, Black&White, the Doraemon one-shot, anything Matsumoto is good.

read a bit of taiyou no ie last night and it's a triumph of moe and heartwarms against good art or ambition.

Bane? Get them on board, I'll call it in.
Is the blind guy in the latest One Piece arc a nod to Zatoichi?

Admittedly, it reminded me of Zatoichi, the first time he appeared. But now it is undeniable.

Everyone figured that out when he showed up last chapter.
Hence why people think he's one of the new admirals. All the other admirals are based on Japanese celebrities.

Ask me which Shakespeare novel is best

Yes. And that's why he's the best character in OP at the mo.

Silver Spoon really goes all in on dealing with the difficulties of making it in a tough economic climate. I don't think I've ever encountered something in the shounen style that was so relentlessly grounded.

Beelzebub

Babu.

Kuroko

Yawn.

Toriko

Bye Tommyrod. Finally teh third party shows its face. The Neo organisation sounds very interesting. This group have a lot of reach. Finally that guy will fight. I want to see him getting serious.

Even though Musashi is just farming, somehow it's almost as good as when he is fighting. Great, now just release them quicker! QQ

Read this last night all in one go before passing out. Was probably a bad idea in retrospect. This was a pretty good read though a bit text heavy at times. As someone who's been struggling with employment for a while, it's a pretty relatable story as a lot of the subject matter and dialogue hits uncomfortably close to home for me. I mean something like this

is one of those moments where you just pause reading and reflect on yourself for a minute before continuing on. The couple was pretty refreshing as well, with all the subtle and not-so subtle tension and uncertainty feeling all too familiar to me as well. That last chapter was interesting and ended the story on a good note. I do need to get caught up on Genshiken at some point too.

Why does no one comment on the artwork and the imagery or whatever genjutsu's the artists is doing. It seemed to really stick out this time whenever Board Chairman was there, the dude salivating, the skull and glove in that one panel, his face hovering over and sending the bolts of whatever through the teammates, half face over the school, etc. Though I guess it just seemed really interesting to me. Anyway, I wish I had a voice to give board chairman, can think of a few characters voices in an anime that'd fit him, if its ever pursued in time. Karma kun yieled the best moments, and Im hoping for good Sugino moments.

hey guys

should I read Toriko
I'm currently thinking about nominating the name "Toriko" to be put under the dictionary definition of "escalation"

(it takes a couple of serious arcs to really capture people, but it still shows its true colors in chapter 1. just try it out)

I think it starts strong, then got into a long drag for a bit, then finally picks up again. (well at least, Im only up to er, I think today the anime is at the final moments of the Casino arc).

Koigokoro 1
Sad that this is the final volume of this three part series spread across three different things. I will miss Saki and Jun So much. Lovely cover for it. And though there wasn't any action, it still had many scenes that made me smile. Jun always has the best smiles and his moments, like when he asked for a kiss was just so memorable. I hope the uncle doesn't really get anymore in the way. But at least Jun and Saki feel ever stronger now for each other.

I almost thought for a second they were going with that ending and it took me by surprise.

Ran and the Gray World 11, 11.5

Go Hibi, that's how you do it. So now we got Little Ran and Hibi and Big Ran and Mr. Douche. I know for sure who I'm going with. Surprised to see the mom back from the door place, hopefully she starts appearing more.

The art looks pretty rough compared to Genshiken but I enjoyed the story and the characters, all very relatable. I really like the visit at Akio's parents and the twist at the end. Looking foward to the sequel.

Angry Grimace

Two cannibals are eating a clown. One turns to the other and says "does something taste funny to you?"
Silver Spoon

The Mikage family is hilarious. There's totally going to be drama incoming since Hachiken's probably going to break at least one of his promises (
to keep his hands off of Aki lol
).

Yonensei

A refreshing change of pace, although I'm not that fond of mangas where we learn the characters' state of mind by having them come out and tell us rather than by deciphering it on our own through their actions.

It's not even on my list of stuff that will be put on my list of stuff.

Doesn't that describe every series that isn't the Big 3?

I wish this would actually happen, but we're probably just going to get more awkwardness.
