Eh, I like anime tits as long as the game doesn't revolve around them. I have to see more of the game to know if it's something I would enjoy though.

Looking at the scenario writer's past works, I see it is a pretty impressive resume: Okamiden, visual novels 428 & Time Travellers and Ace Attorney 5 co-writer. If nothing else, the writing might be really good/interesting!

Clearly what we should be taking a stand for is anime titties in video games, considering how much you defended it after I made a one sentence long post mocking people who go crazy when someone says as much as "hey that is uncomfortable and I don't want to play it because of that".

Wasn't he also the guy behind the stories in all of the Senran Kaguras? That would probably explain why he's on board here.

It's not "everyone", it's just that some people really feel the need to let everyone know how they feel about fanservice every single time, regardless of the context or even how pervasive it is.
Sometime it'd just be better if they'd keep their knee-jerk, drive-by reactions based off a single sentence to themselves because this is literally like complaining about fanservice in a Dragon Quest game because of the Puff-Puff.

I'll judge the game when I see the gameplay like always.
The overreaction to that description is expected, though to me it sounds like goofy fanservice more than anything.

Crazy over the top unrealistic fanservice is welcome, but I think it has to be implemented properly like a comedy to have an effect.

Mostly this type of games gets criticized on gaf because their "above it" or whatever, other gaming sites commentators so far have shown their excited for this game, no controversy nonsense.

People don't seem to get that games are not made to push their agenda. I don't bother myself with those discussions very much, but I am sick of reading them tbh

Judging from the bad quality of the female character models I can't imagine that the fanservice will play a big part and that it's just a silly mechanic instead

The article mentions that the game is geared towards button mashing. I hope that the combat has more depth than that.

They use higher quality models for Motorboat Mode. But yes, it's not even fanservice, it looks like a quick transition to get buffs.
The weirdest thing is that Takaki is involved and they don't have Senran Kagura-sized breasts so that's a nice change.

Alright it's a 4-page article and only a third of the last page is about the "fanservice" mechanics.

I think it'll be fine for most people
