I actually forgot to take a photo of the entire sword, oh well, you get the idea. I've always wanted a sword to hang in my studio, and being a huge Tolkien dork it had to be LotR/Hobbit related. This is basically my college graduation present to myself, and who can call themselves a fantasy nerd and not have a sword hanging on a wall somewhere? No one.

Haha, I also bought the entire Cards Against Humanity set for my family this Christmas for those that don't know about the Christmas pack that came out, you could pay whatever you wanted. However, if you paid zero dollars the envelope I just you said something to the effect of your name and then on the next line "cheapass" or "asshole." I forget but either way pretty funny! I think I paid what they suggested which was $5.

While I wouldn't get a sword myself simply because I don't have the expendable income for that (I spend my expendable income on car related stuff!) I really admire that sword. It looks extremely well done and I am assuming it was worth it and will be worth it to you to look at and appreciate that said, if I had the money and space to mount them properly I would buy one as it looks really cool!

I sometimes don't like looking in this thread, because some of the stuff you guys get are really awesome. I really like that Mass Effect Normandy ship, and Zelda ornament that SirUltimos has.

I think I'm finally done "picking up" new items this month, so I decided to post. Not including anything I might be getting for xmas, this is some of the stuff I've picked up:

Starting to build a collection of every Legend of Zelda game, as complete as I can. The two Oracle games just arrived today, and I'm so looking forward to finally playing them. I've played them briefly before, but never owned them myself.

Picked up this used gamecube for $20, because I had no way of playing GC games anymore since I got my Wii U. Plus I wanted to use the gameboy player to play my new GBC Zelda games.

Is it silly that I bought all these games, yet I don't even own a 3DS yet? lol I've strongly hinted to everyone in my family that I want a 3DS for xmas, but I figured if I didn't get one, that I'd just buy one after the new year. I saw a new copy of Virtue's Last Reward on the store shelf, and had to grab it. Bought 999 of amazon because I've been hearing so many good things about the games lately that I really wanna play em.

I love Return to Dinosaur Land. It's an excellent hack that's faithful to mario design philosophy (as in, it doesn't have an absurd difficulty curve like some hacks do).

Managed to find another PVM yesterday. Not quite as sharp as the 14M4U, but it does the trick. Still on the lookout for some 20" units.

This is my "retro" setup as it stands, if it stands much longer that is, CRTs are all kinds of heavy.

Lovely setup, now you only need a dedicated PVM for TATE games and you're set.

With everything in my room, dust is always a constant problem, and it drives me nuts. With that setup, I have to imagine there are so many wires, and so many outlets that would collect little bundles of dust that get tangled in the wires.

Yeah, that was my main scare about the game. Dont want a Kaizo Mario. Also, wanted to play Mother 1 before Earthbound and wanted to see a Horror game for the SNES. I'm pretty happy with my purchase.

With everything in my room, dust is always a constant problem, and it drives me nuts. With that setup, I have to imagine there are so many wires, and so many outlets that would collect little bundles of dust that get tangled in the wires.

I'd like to know too. This is what I'm dealing with under my desk and there are only six systems connected. I tried those little velco straps but those are just a pain.

I only have six of those systems hooked up as well. The SNES, CDX, GC and PS1 are redundant at this point and I'll probably get rid of them eventually. I tie up the excess cords with elastics, seems to do the trick.
