For recommendations, check out my NJPW World Recommended Matches list, there's a bunch of stuff from the 90's on there; tinyurl.com/NJPW-WORLD

Thanks, will definitely check out that list.
One match (or rather, feud) that i was looking forward seeing on NJPW World is Hashimoto vs Ogawa, sadly that one is missing too.

Meanwhile i'll post a gif from a match i really liked (man, the crowd was hot for this one in the Tokyo Dome):

Just over eight hours until the next Road show live on NJPW World;

NJPW, "New Japan Road", 2015/02/27
Okinawa Nippon Budokan

1. Sho Tanaka vs Yohei Komatsu
2. Manabu Nakanishi & KUSHIDA vs Jado & Gedo
3. Hiroyoshi Tenzan & Jushin 'Thunder' Liger vs Satoshi Kojima & Tiger Mask
4. Hirooki Goto & Katsuyori Shibata vs Yuji Nagata & Captain New Japan
5. Tetsuya Naito & Ryusuke Taguchi vs Kazuchika Okada & YOSHI-HASHI
6. Hiroshi Tanahashi, Togi Makabe & Tomoaki Honma vs Shinsuke Nakamura, Toru Yano & Tomohiro Ishii

This one's clearly a house show, serving as a warm up for next month's New Japan Cup. The young lion battle should be good, as per usual, and always cool to see Jado & Gedo teaming. Looks like while Liger & Tiger fight over the NWA Jr. title, they're going to set-up for Tenzan & Kojima to fight over the NWA Heavyweight title, which I'm not entirely averse to. Always enjoyed Kojima & Tenzan's previous matches. Nagata getting surly with Goto & Shibata is always good fun and the top two matches should be as quality as you'd expect. One to avoid if you hate the tag-heavy shows, but for everyone else it starts at;

So not worth it
Been having a lot of buffering issues on the live feed lately, not sure why but I've now started streaming two or three minutes behind the live feed to alleviate (and it still buffers). Really weird.

Yeah, I'm not sure what's changed - it was perfect for me throughout December & January, but from February onwards I've got a ton of buffering even with the low quality feed. Also, a lot of the people having problems seem to be in Europe, while US users are apparently fine. No idea if that's actually the case or just the way it seems, or what would cause such an issue, but I hope it's sorted.

Thanks, Bootaaay! I thought you weren't giving much attention to this and tried to look up recent cards as I watched them but found it hard to get a match listing without results, so this is appreciated.

The bumps in round 2 had me cringing. Looked like Shibata took a full-on lariat to the face and Naito should be dead right now.

Thanks, Bootaaay! I thought you weren't giving much attention to this and tried to look up recent cards as I watched them but found it hard to get a match listing without results, so this is appreciated.

Cagematch is pretty good for this, if you click on 'card' to the right of the event details you can see the match listing without results;

http://www.cagematch.net/?id=8&nr=7&page=4

And yeah, I need to update this thread and the google docs match list, been busy with other stuff recently.

So what's everyone's predictions for Invasion Attack tonight?

Outside of the throwaway 10 and 6 man tags, I'm picking all the champs to retain with perhaps the sole exception of Ropongi Vice getting the Jr. Tag titles. Still, I probably won't bother staying up for it because it's a one match show, AJ vs. Ibushi. Still, that one match could be an MOTY candidate. It'll probably be a similar story to Ibushi/Nakamura at Wrestle Kingdom, with Ibushi putting on an amazing showing and coming very close to taking the gold, but AJ putting him away with a Styles Clash in the end. I'm also picking Okada to beat Fale and for Okada to challenge AJ for the gold at Wrestling Dontaku, which will be the 1 year anniversary of AJ winning his first title from Okada.

Other feuds I see coming out of this are Naito/Nakamura for the IC belt and Makabe vs. Ishii for the NEVER belt. Might see the Super Murder Meiyu Tag Besties reunite to challenge Gun Gallows again, pointless as it is, but it's more likely that we get LAUGHTER7 EXPLODES as Shibata battles Sakuraba. Of course that leaves MY BOY Goto with nothing to do but maybe he and Ibushi can face off again after their excellent NJC final.

I definitely think they're setting up for Goto vs Nakamura at some point, wouldn't be at all surprised to see Nakamura get pinned by Goto at Invasion Attack. Nakamura's been taunting him, calling him "Mr. Invisible" and saying that he "can't see" Goto because Goto's so far beneath him;

vk7Ea84.gif

I think Bennett & Taven win the tag belts, they'll make a good team for Meiyu Tag to chase. Can't see any other belt changes, except maybe the jr. tag titles.

Just over 10 minutes until Invasion Attack starts! Here's the card;

NJPW "INVASION ATTACK 2015", 05.04.2015 (WPW/NJPW World)
Tokyo Ryogoku Kokugikan

1. Yuji Nagata, Captain New Japan, Alex Shelley, KUSHIDA & Yohei Komatsu vs. Manabu Nakanishi, Jushin Thunder Liger, Tiger Mask, Ryusuke Taguchi & Sho Tanaka
2. Hiroyoshi TenzanSatoshi Kojima & Tomoaki Honma vs. Yujiro Takahashi, Tama Tonga & Cody Hall
3. IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Title: Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson (c) vs. Rocky Romero & Barreta
4. IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Title: Kenny Omega (c) vs. Máscara Dorada
5. IWGP Tag Team Title: Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows (c) vs. Michael Bennett & Matt Taven
6. Special Six Man Tag Match: Togi Makabe, Hirooki Goto & Tetsuya Naito vs. Shinsuke Nakamura, Tomohiro Ishii & YOSHI-HASHI

8. Special Singles Match: Kazuchika Okada vs. Bad Luck Fale
9. IWGP Heavyweight Title: AJ Styles (c) vs. Kota Ibushi

Here's the full card for Wrestling Hinokuni on April 29th;

NJPW, "WRESTLING HINOKUNI", 2015/04/29
Kamamoto Grandmesse

1. Rocky Romero, Beretta & Gedo vs Sho Tanaka, Yohei Komatsu & Jay White
2. Satoshi Kojima & Captain New Japan vs Yujiro Takahashi & Cody Hall
3. Yuji Nagata, Tiger Mask & Mascara Dorada vs Manabu Nakanishi, Ryusuke Taguchi & KUSHIDA
4. NWA World Jr. Heavyweight Title: Steve Anthony (c) vs Jushin 'Thunder' Liger
5. NWA World Heavyweight Title: Hiroyoshi Tenzan vs Big Daddy Yum Yum
6. Tetsuya Naito, Tomoaki Honma & Alex Shelley vs Karl Anderson, Doc Gallows & Kenny Omega
7. Kazuchika Okada & YOSHI-HASHI vs Bad Luck Fale & Tama Tonga
8. Hirooki Goto, Hiroshi Tanahashi & Katsuyori Shibata vs Shinsuke Nakamura, Toru Yano & Kazushi Sakuraba
9. NEVER Openweight Title: Tomohiro Ishii (c) vs Togi Makabe

Steve Anthony won the NWA Jr. title from Liger last night at an NWA show in Texas, so now Liger's gets his rematch here. Also, the infamous Big Daddy Yum Yum is returning to New Japan! After facing the wrath of Kojima's machine gun chops, he'll now have to face Tenzan's Mongolian chops. Also, Makabe gets his rematch for the NEVER title, which he was never defeated for.

Also, I've updated the NJPW World Recommended Viewing List - there's now over 530 matches, from 1973 ~ 2015.

The Road to Wrestling Dontaku shows tarts in about an hour and a half;

NJPW, "ROAD TO WRESTLING DONTAKU", 2015.04.17
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. Tiger Mask vs. Sho Tanaka
2. Máscara Dorada & Yohei Komatsu vs. Rocky Romero & Barreta
3. Yuji Nagata & Ryusuke Taguchi vs. Manabu Nakanishi & Captain New Japan
4. Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Satoshi Kojima & KUSHIDA vs. Yujiro Takahashi, Kenny Omega & Cody Hall
5. Tetsuya Naito & Tomoaki Honma vs. Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows
6. Kazuchika Okada & Gedo vs. Bad Luck Fale & Tama Tonga
7. Hiroshi Tanahashi, Togi Makabe, Hirooki Goto, Katsuyori Shibata & Kota Ibushi vs. Shinsuke Nakamura, Kazushi Sakuraba, Toru Yano, Tomohiro Ishii & YOSHI-HASHI

That Okada/Gedo vs Fale/Tonga tag match should be good, the 10-man main event looks fun as well.

Thanks for keeping the list updated constantly! I saw it was updated a couple of days ago and that made me happy so I re-subscribed, time to get caught up on what was missed.

Unfortunately not, there's zero English-language content on there at the moment. It's something they've said they're working on, but progress is slow.

This is pretty big news, although the commentary team of Striker & Kevin Kelly doesn't really appeal to me, but it's something a lot of fans have been demanding and I hope it's a sign of future English-language content on NJPW World.

New Japan Pro Wrestling is now advertising that their upcoming King of Pro Wrestling PPV on October 12th will be broadcast with English commentary. Matt Striker (who already provided commentary for Wrestle Kingdom 9 earlier this year, alongside Jim Ross) will be joined by Kevin Kelly. It doesn’t seem like Jeff Jarrett and his GFW are involved this time.

The show kicks off at 3:00AM ET on October 12th, and viewers will presumably need a subscription to New Japan World (999 yen, or about $8.30USD) to access the event.

This will be the first show since January's massive Wrestle Kingdom that will feature English audio on a New Japan event, which was handled by Global Force Wrestling and broadcast on US PPV.
There had been talks of doing something similar with the Invasion Attack PPV in April, or Dominion back in July, but nothing came together. At this time it does not appear that Jeff Jarrett nor GFW has anything to do with King of Pro Wrestling.

Here is the final match card:

IWGP Heavyweight Championship Match
* Kazuchika Okada (c) vs. AJ Styles

Tanahashi Defends His #1 Contender's Right
* Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Tetsuya Naito

NEVER Openweight ChampionshiP Match
* Togi Makabe (c) vs. Tomohiro Ishii

* Bullet Club (Bad Luck Fale, Doc Gallows, Karl Anderson) vs. Sakuraba, Shinsuke Nakamura & Toru Yano

IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship Match
* Kenny Omega (c) vs. Matt Sydal

IWGP Jr. Tag Team Championship Match
* reDragon (c) vs. RPG Vice

* Captain New Japan, Hirooki Goto, Shibata & Kota Ibushi vs. Tenzan, Nakanishi, Satoshi Kojima & Yuji Nagata

* Tomoaka Honma vs. Yoshi-Hashi

* David Finlay, Jay WHite, Juice Robinson (CJ Parker), Sho Tanaka & Yohei Komatsu vs. Jushin Thunder Liger, Kushida, Mascara Dorada, Ryusuke Taguchi & Tiger Mask

As long as Striker doesn't point out something as stupid as "no slapping of the leg here" during a strike exchange like he did at TripleMania it should be fine.

How long does it take for shows to be available on demand? Like, if I work during the day on January 4th can I watch WK10 when I get home?

Trevelyon

It's usually as quick, if not quicker than the Network VoD, though the English commentary feed may be given lower priority.

It'll likely be up with 1-2 hours of the event finishing.

How do I find old shows? Someone recommended watching King of Pro Wrestling 2015 and I can find the individual matches, but is there a way to watch the full show?

FantasticaMania's live! Starting shortly on NJPW World - two title matches on this one, looks like a fun show!

RIP WrassleGAF, too crazy to live, too fucked up to die
.

That Barbaro vs Titan match was so much fun, love both those guys but Barbaro is officially insane for that top-rope splash to the floor...his poor knees, goddamn.

That main event was a lot of fun, Ultimo Guerrero continuing his unbroken streak of being awesome at FantasticaMania - also, Mistico II should just stay in Japan, where he actually gets reactions for the crazy shit he does;

Yep, really good show overall. It's just fun to see some new people in front of a fresh crowd, really.
