Watch the game trailer, the character has the same hair sticking out in exactly the same places. Hence they modelled it in exactly the same way (or reused assets). It doesn't move in the fake CG interview either.

'Who knows' is not really a persuasive argument.It's a possibility, technology is evolving, techniques are evolving, who knows what kind of research they have been doing, someone has to take it to the next step, and someone will, it's just a matter of who and when.
Also they are really just mostly rendering the mouth and eyes, it doesn't have to render environments etc that would take a lot more resources.
And yet they miss the 'glitch' in the neck?

Finally got around to watching the HD GameTrailers hosted version full screen. It's so fucking obviously not CGI. Team CG should go see a specialist.
