The order almost seems like the opposite of Evolve to me.

Where as Evolve was hyped like fuck by the media, then torn to shreds over repetative gameplay and the DLC nonsense by actual players, and has apparently bombed, The Order's been generally dismissed by alot of the gaming press and enthusiasts alike as too short and too narrative focused, but seems to be generally well received from hands on accounts, and looks to be quietly going on to sell well to the general public.

So with the numbers Nintendo released about MH4U selling around 110k across Europe, that should indicate a very good opening for France and Germany.

Also MM and N3DS numbers are great as well. This may show that the UK represents a 1/4th of their sales base in Europe (just guesstimating).

Gamesmarkt says that Zelda is also No.1 in All Formats, so it sold more than Evolve PS4, PC and XB1 combined.

Great debut for Monster Hunter, well deserved.

Monster Hunter ever since 3 seems t ave hit a chord here in Germany. I think that's cool. It's a great series.

I know, i was in MediaMarkt just yesterday and their retail PC games shelves are still pretty long. But still, even here in germany the PC games market has moved way stronger to digital game sales than consoles. That shows how bad XB1 is doing here when retail PC version beats XB1 version. (well, besides all the other germany weeks where XB1 has 1-3 games in the TOP50 compared to 10-15 PS4 games)

As of Week 7, 2015 - PS4 + Xbox One = almost 3.5 millions
"In the UK, for the first 14 months of the respective PS3, Xbox 360, PS4 and Xbox One launches, PlayStation tie ratios are down 14% and Xbox down 16%.
Over 26% of all PS4 and Xbox Ones sold in 2013 were bundles.
When "soft-bundling" is included, the percentage could be up to 50% (estimate).
During Black Friday, 90% of hardware sold were bundles.

Going to go out on a limb and say 1.9m PS4's and 1.5m Xbox One's.

I don't think Evolve is "rubbish" but it's a full-priced, multiplayer-only title, and unlike Titanfall it wasn't the big sci-fi shooter for a brand-new platform.

The deck was stacked against it.

When they say that MH4 sales are 95% up on the MH3U, do you think they're combining the sales of it from both the Wii U and 3DS versions? I'm curious how many people who bought the console version have bought MH4.

Here in Norway I couldn't find Zelda or MonHan in stores after the first couple of days. Understocked / estimated as usual.

Sure was expected. Setting fitting for the country and generally quite low sales so new releases can get top spot quite easily. Is it bundled in UK? I can also see a huge marketing campaign happening in UK.

Thanks for the updates.

66% drop for Evolve is better than I was expecting, but it's in line with the average week on week drop for most games.

Will be interesting to see how well Order holds. Not much in the way of competition coming up...

Glad to see TH:1886 at the top, I though the title was a fantastic experience, but the critical mauling will definitely affect it's legs.

Huh? This is always bad in UK, what is there to factor in?
I am wondering how much it sold in total and if there was a marketing campaign for it, as well as bundles. What is wrong with this? Both things could also affect legs of the game.
