I think you USA guys deserve a preorder wave to open up. It seems like torture in this thread, where others like UK, and EU have sellers orders being taken right now and sold out. Its nutz.. Anyway good luck!
I remember paying 59.99 for Star Fox.
Second one seems like a scam. First one might be some troll bidders

I remember Service Merchandise vividly. Though I admit I forgot about the form bit. Remember the conveyor belt tho!
$80 for Chrono Trigger and FF3
JRPGs were def an investment

Either listing is actually against eBay policies. They don't allow preorders more than 30 days in advance. These should be reported to eBay and remove

I remember Service Merchandise vividly, too. I bought exactly one game from them: Secret of Mana. I went to the mall to get it, and wouldn't have another chance to do so for at least a week. But no store had it except Service Merchandise.
So I bought it there. And it cost me $105.
But damn were they worth it
Well, I'm pretty sure I paid 699Frs for SFII Turbo, so that's 105 ($115) in direct conversion, but inflation-corrected, it's 145 ($160)$80 for Chrono Trigger and FF3
24 minutes guys!
I bought Super Mario Kart from a Service Merchandise... with unrolled pennies.
As a kid I didn't realize how terrible that was.
Inflation though. I paid more than $60 for some cartridge games back in the day.
what are the chances Amazon.de will get new stock?
$60 wasnt even the ceiling for SNES cartridges. I remember buying Super Mario RPG in 96 for $69.99. Hell some Square RPGs like FFIII (6) or Chrono Trigger could be as high as $90!
$74.99 for Super Mario RPG.
$74.99 for Super Mario RPG.
To those who are laughing at our demise I'll just like to point out this.
We will succeed.
