Perhaps its like a Titanfall scenario.
Sony funds the first, but the subsequent titles are multiplat.
No way. You dont sign a deal with Kojima for a one time deal. This is going to be long term.

There are two main pressures.Would you still need staff while you're in the preproduction phase?
that giddyness on his face lol
That all depends on whether or not Sony owns the IP, or Kojima does.
Thanks IGN for exclusive interview with Hideo Kojima and.... Go check out IGN on Dec. 16 at 3pm Pacific.

I guess I'm getting a PS4 next year.

I recall Sony execs saying that they don't consider PC a competitor platform.
It was a while back.
once again...
They need to hire staff now, not six months from now.
Calling it "console exclusive" means Kojima Productions is the developer and Sony will publish.
Yes. video says it all lol
Not sure if anyone has seen this yet but here is Kojima's new website
Does this mean Kojima was breaching a clause in the dumb Konami contract all along ?
He just got outta there.lol
Yeah, it was PSNation. I wasn't sure if they were saying it was supposed to be a part of PSX or if someone told them that this news would be happening.
Wow Microsoft. I thought you would atleast once score a nice production studio.. And yet you don't stop to amaze me with ignorance.

There are two main pressures.
1.) Pre-production for AAA games is still often 30-50+ people in 2015, or sometimes even more. "Production" is the state when you balloon up to like 300-400+ people with contractors.
2.) They want to hire as much of the old Kojima Productions as possible before they all get jobs elsewhere, since they need to eat.
TotalBiscuit is towing a truck full of anti-console salt on Twitter over this. Holy shit.
Probably just means Sony is funding whatever KojiPro is making.
And then they really need the news.
once again...
Wouldn't they have been in the know by now though? There are two main pressures.

Interesting. Do you have a link? In any case it's not hard to believe, I think people who own multiple platforms are a small minority of the total gaming population.
Any offical confirmation of other legacy KojiPro members joining the team? Ken? Yoji?
If they were hiring old staffers, would they need to do a public listing though? Couldn't they just contact the old members individually or would that be considered a breach by Konami or whatever?
Yeah, could feel his energy the whole time lol

Or wait two more years until game release.
The Konami saga was great viral marketing for Sony's new exclusive IP.
