I knew that E3 would have been too soon for its announcement.
Meh. I won't be forking out for a fucking 4K television for this thing. Guess I'll stick with my rusty old PS4 for the forseeable.
FFS. They might just postpone the entire E3 to 2017 at this point.
Well, upside is that we are getting a PS4K
What does his have to do with God of War?
Yep, who cares about games when you can talk about consoles.
Naw but i did recently take it apart and cleaned it
added new thermal paste
Seems to be working really well so far
Now let's see if Microsoft unveil Scorpio.
I feel a game of cat and mouse coming on.
"Consumers with 4K tv's"
Yeah ok...Like that thing will do 4K.
Not at E3, wuuut
VR focus confirmed then!
I've been thinking of doing that. It's a day 1 PS4 and i'm sure it's due for some maintenace. I always worry about it since Infamous Second Son. That game would make the fan on my PS4 speed up and sound like a jet engine. No other game has really done that yet, but I heard Uncharted 4 is very taxing on the 1st gen models.
Good you can not release Neo and VR in the same time frame as they take sales away from each other.
The majority wouldn't care until something can be seen and compared with. Right now only the hardcore gamer crowd will care and they already have seen the rumors and know it is coming. This is just to avoid repeated questions at e3 about its existence and also make a big deal about it close to releaseSo who's going to rush out to buy a PS4 now. Dumb move Sony.
Although this does align with a rumor I (thought I) saw around a reveal at TGS
Scorpio also shouldn't be at E3 unless MS wants to kill Xbone right now.
You might be right.Delayed to match the Scorpios specs confirmed.

Haha noYou might be right.

how many years left in PS4's cycle you think? its incredibly naive to believe this isn't part of an effort to establish a new norm of hardware updates every 2-2.5 years.
Translation: We aren't going to announce the Neo because we'd like to sell a few PS4s before we have Neos for the market.
If it can output 4k signal, it can do 4k."Consumers with 4K tv's"

Yup pretty much same here.Well, I guess they don't want it to impact PSVR sales. The Neo was pretty much going to prevent me from buying the VR. I wasn't going to get both this year, and if it had to be one it'd have been the Neo.
Scorpio also shouldn't be at E3 unless MS wants to kill Xbone right now.
So they now have the burden of officially stating there's a higher spec PS4 coming, with none of the advantages of showing it off with the titles on show at E3? Seems a bit backwards to me.
Hope and pray Microsoft show off Scorpio anyway, they'll have the advantage of being the only hardware at E3.
