I was already skeptical about the entire VR movement, but at that price I am really concerned. Also, the PSVR much like the Oculus Rift are expensive peripherals or "add-ons" which from my observation usually do not succeed, especially at exorbitant prices. Maybe I will be proven wrong, but imo anything over $300 is potential suicide. They are going to have to display how supposedly "awesome" virtual reality is with ample, long term support and why it is a necessity for gamers, especially for the individuals that are already spending $300-$350 on a PS4.

I don't think the goal of first generation is to sell blockbusters, but really just to get ready to sell blockbusters for the 2nd generation.
