So overall 13 games on 7 platforms. Next year will probably be more expensive, but since this year was abysmal when it comes to new games, that's to be expected. Total cost: 458€.

I wish more people listed total costs, or even rough estimates with their lists. I spent a similar amount as you this year ($508) but instead of 13 games on 7 platforms I got 156 games on 12 platforms. That total cost includes the NES Mini with 30 games, 13 physical retail games (same as you! haha), 16 individual download games, and 97 download games as part of bundles or compilations.

It's a stupid number of games to purchase each year, but if I'm spending the same amount of money as the folks listing just a dozen games I don't feel bad at all.

From the PS4 list, as noted the vast majority were heavily discounted (CoD and TLG being the obvious exceptions as day one purchases) and yes, aside from FF/Hitman GO/PGA/Firewatch I have barely played any of them. Most of my PS4 time this year has been taken up with replaying GTA 3 and Vice City for the Platinum trophies.

Meanwhile I got Football Manager at the end of October and have clocked 70 hours already according to Steam.

Not expecting 2017 to be too expensive (unless I randomly decide to buy a Switch) as I am hoping FFXII HD will be out early-ish in the year and if so that will be my main focus on the console front.
