I thought rumors said over 100gb will be used?I bet 32gb and 64gb will be available in no time
I thought rumors said over 100gb will be used
That would be a really compressed game if true
So, that's the smallest a Switch card will be?
Going by Nintendo's history with game cards, this means we'll be seeing much larger cards throughout the Switch's lifecycle.
People need to remember before over-reacting that this is standard, not maximum
That's sd capacity iirc. But, seeing a 128gb cart in the future is really likelyI thought rumors said over 100gb will be used?
but... a single layer blu ray is 25GB

How will patches be handle?
Does the switch have stand alone expandable storage, or will it all (DLC updates, patches) go on the game card
Looks like standard capacity of Switch game card at least when console launched would be around 16; enough for one-layer Blu-ray game.
Does anyone know the standard and maximum 3DS game card capacities?
That's not fine, IMO. Should be at least around 25GB available at the start for any devs that want to make use of more space. That's fine. Not as if they will stay at 16 gigs thoughout the life of the switch.
Does anyone know the standard and maximum 3DS game card capacities?
I do not but I think the biggest card is the ultra-rare Fire Emblem Fates SE card (which may or may not be the same size as Xenoblade?). What is it, 8GB?Does anyone know the standard and maximum 3DS game card capacities?

Lol. There goes any possibility for multiplats. Especially if this and the 4Gb ram is also true...
