I guess $299 / $449 makes sense.

It gives them room to drop it to $249 / $399 later on.

I'm thinking $299/$399 at the absolute highest. I don't see Sony pricing the NEO above what the PS4 launched at unless it's a bundle with some serious value.

Maybe it could but why should it from a business perspective?

Well they could always sell the Slim alone for $299, but then have a Slim+PSVR bundle that made it $249+$399.

If they just want to sell Slim, the $249 would be best. But by putting the discount in a PSVR bundle it would make the PSVR more palatable. Just a thought.

I can see $249 making some sense. Knock $50 off because discount, and another $50 for dropping the game. Then they could still do CoD bundles and whatnot for $299. That's a pretty aggressive price, and at that point no, there likely won't be much concern over the lack of UHD.

If so, then I could also see Neo coming in for less than $499, though I suspect still at least $449. Maybe $449/$499, depending on whether a game is bundled.
