Ah, I see, we're getting the same prices in the US. Literally. 9.99 USD translates to 99 MXN which is around 7.50USD. We got MGS HD for $3.50 for some reason.

Depends what you enjoy. If you like a cinematic action packed, serious single player campaign, go for Max Payne. If you enjoy coop with some humour thrown in, go Borderlands.

Personally, I would go Max Payne. I paid full price for it and it was a great ride.

Heads up re: Max Payne 3 - the digital download is only part of the game and at the end of a chapter(forgot which one) it prompts you to download the rest of the game.

Not a bad game but I would recommend BL2 over it.

Did you like Risen 1/2, Arcania, Venetica, Two Worlds II, The Witcher? I'd say it's in that league of jank with some good ideas and some nice exploration. There's a lot of content to - $5 is a steal. Also, AP is a wonderful game.

I have not played the first one but single player in Borderlands 2 is a little meh, it was obviously designed around co-op and as such some of the mechanics and difficulty of some enemies (even though it scales) reflect that.

I wasn't too fond of it when I played it around six years ago. I can't imagine age has done it any favors. I know some people are looking forward to Far Cry Classic coming to XBLA soon (for something like $7 for some odd reason). Perhaps wait for that or just go with something else entirely.

The ship battles were cool. There really isn't a lot of it in the game.

IMO it's worth $15. Not as good as II or Brotherhood, but leagues ahead of Revelations and the original.
