The one thing we do know is that Square will finally be revealing the release date for the game, which is scheduled to launch on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC some time this year.

It is unless they know something we don't. The last time Tabata commented on it he said that they'd look into releasing it on the PC after the console versions as he feel they've made fans wait long enough for the game.

If I were to hazard a guess, video material goes out to partners in advance for the event to be pre-uploaded so they can all go live during the event, and somewhere along the line for the Chinese versions of the promo material, someone (Oriental Pearl or whoever) decided to be that guy.

FWIW, there is "Dodge Roll" command in the demo video and while the video only features platforming, the dodge roll makes it sound like there will be battles as well.

By the looks of it, people who haven't played Episode Duscae should be careful in their expectations of the new demo, we know it'll feature combat but will not be the main focus.
