Final Fantasy XV leaks happening for today's event (ads, videos, demo on March 31)

A demo isn't a spoiler Jesus Christ, what's next, a release date leak being a spoiler?

Yup, I don't want to know when Zelda U comes out. I want to walk into a gamestop and be surprised to see it on a shelf. Do not rob me of the awe and wonder of seeing a game on a store shelf that I didn't know was out yet. Hell, i'm mad at nintendo for even announcing a new zelda game was coming out.

Do people think like this? I think the cult of spoiler aversion is getting a bit out of hand :/

Edit: Great, my mean sarcastic post is top of the page ;_;

"Tomorrow you can play the new demo" is hardly "small time".

I think this is the tech demo they were talking about. It's not small time but I can't hardly be the big reveal of the event. Release date, CE info, expanding on gameplay etc I think will be the bulk of the conference

lol, there are people who consider a leaked release date of an unnanounced demo at a PR event a spoiler? boo fucking hoo...

Different opinions. We knew a demo was going to happen fairly close to the event.
We also knew that it would feature a Young Noctis and the teaser picture screamed a "dream" scenario. We also saw the Carbuncle in a dev blog post but most people assumed it was a Moogle.

The only spoilery stuff is the date, which most expected would be right after the event.

Honestly some people are taking this leak too seriously. Chill out guys =/

Post it, I'm curious

The demo being something that isn't in the game is pretty cool, though as someone who hasn't played the first demo I'm a bit bummed about not being able to try out the combat system.

That cinematic ad...wow, that has to SE's best ad I have ever seen. The Dawn's music works perfectly here, Amano's art looks soooo good in 3D (imagine game like that!) and the 3D effect at the end making the logo.....Gold.

anything related to that particular event, the contents, should be considered an spoiler.

but that is besides the point, I didn't want to know anything about the event before I see it later today and I just got spoiled by the thread title. This is info that should be in the thread OP, not in the thread title.

also, if you don't consider that an spoiler, that's very nice for you, but I consider it an spoiler and didn't even got the chance to decide if I wanted to see it or not

A September release would go down nicely, July would be even better though.

No way square would release it in the west only a month after Star Ocean V

Star Ocean's impact on Square Enix's fiscal year: Basically non-existent.

Final Fantasy XV's impact on Square Enix's fiscal year: Quite large.

I don't think they will make any consideration of this sort when deciding a date for Final Fantasy XV.

Does knowing a demo is coming now or 10 hours from now really make a difference? I mean really?

I think life gets a bit easier when you consider a leak to be the same as a reveal from official sources. Whether I found out about the demo from the live event, from kotaku/twitter the next morning, or 10 hours early from a chinese leak makes no difference to me. A demo is coming, that is good news, no matter when/where I get that information.

Now if you had spoiled the ending or plot twist or other 'moment' in ffxv, that'd be a different story altogether.
