Final Fantasy XV leaks happening for today's event (ads, videos, demo on March 31)

In one of the Active Time Reports, might've been as late as the January ATR, they revealed that there would be a demo starring young Noctis that would be a separate little story from the main game. It won't be in the main game at all. Nothing much more to it. Previously we had been informed the demo would be the battle tech demo from TGS 2014 (which happens in Insomnia), only with the finalized gameplay/tech, but instead they've made something a bit more special, though that location from the tech demo seems to be in this demo as well.

Why tomorrow in Japan? The event is at 11:00am JST so it should be up during the day if it goes up at night in America.
Unless you mean "tomorrow" as the 31st, which they're already in.

If you're really paranoid about spoilers, why would you browse a forum well known for not holding back when leaks occur on a day where an event related to said game is happening and it's incredibly likely that stuff will get out ahead of time?
I mean, I get wanting to go in fresh (I'm bouncing soon as I finish posting this, lol) but you can't expect to be coddled all the time when it comes to these things.

Hoping for a PC announcement. The game will be so long that I'll prob only play it once, and I don't know if I'll wanna do it with compromised performance on PS4.
Yeah, I hate to get into what some might think of as 'victim blaming' but they're hardly victims. I *really* cared about smash 3DS final roster spoilers, so what did I do? Didn't touch twitter or neogaf for 3 days. Guess what? I didn't get spoiled.
I plan to do complete blackout for zelda U. I will not click on any zelda u threads, i'll mute tons of zelda related keywords on twitter, and, maybe a week before release, I'll avoid both of them altogether.

That's alright. I'm in Australia so I'm two hours ahead of Japan so I (hopefully) wouldn't want to be waiting until April 1st before the demo was available lol

We knew all of this was coming aside from the date though. Besides either all leaks or no leaks are ok, you can't pick and choose

Pff. Don't get why people feel so entitled for things to be done a certain way. If you don't want to get spoiled, (which I don't understand more so for an event to watch game play, story I can understand, but game play?), why would you go to a forum which talks about all things gaming, especially if you're so strict about what a spoiler is. So have no sympathy here.
As for demo, hyped! Sad it seems theres no combat seemingly, but was expecting this, just happy for more FFXV. What I'm most eager to hear is the release date, special edition, (maybe even a console edition could tempt me), and every little scrap of game play and trailers they care to dish out!

I understand what you all are saying, I look back to my message and I think it was rude so I apologize. Still, this event is a big part of my life as I've been waiting for this game to come out like 10 years (no joke) so I'm a bit sensitive about spoilers and all that. However, I think the title could have been less explicit and simply say: "uncovered final fantasy xv leaks thread". Oh, and certainly the other user who quoted me just pointing out that I'm a junior member and all that.... yeah :/
Anyways, I apologize again! Just a few more hours to the event

I think there will be some combat, very basic one at least. Otherwise this demo makes no functional purpose.

Yeah, I don't think there's any reason for SE to worry about FFXV getting trumped by CoD or whatever, though maybe releasing the same day would be a poor choice.

I can't quite put my finger on my excitement for this game. On one hand, I'd love to enjoy a big new FF game. On the other hand, my tastes have shifted pretty far away from content that is very Japanese stylistically. Looking forward to seeing more.
