Why dont they just play on PC if they're already PC players? The desire to pub stomp? The worry that the playerbase will dry up is unlikely. No map fragmentation, day one access in a time where the yearly COD wont sell gangbusters and BF1 has gone back to the past. Should be no competition.

It's like, these people can't hack it on PC, so they resort to these kinds of BS on consoles. I mostly play solo even, and I know I don't want to meet asshats that like pub-stomping groups who are cheating. Yes, I think that's cheating.

I remember the BO3 thread. There was this GAF dude who admitted using a XIM but said he doesn't use it to cheat, but also admitted it helps him do very well. And naturally, people got pissed. I don't think he understood why...

Filthy cheating XIM using sweatys should be account banned unless the game explicitly states keyboard and mouse are allowed in online multiplayer.

Anyone here who tries to argue that KB+M isn't an unfair advantage when compared to analog sticks either hasn't played much of either.

It's cheating plain and simple. Agreed.

Now... if Respawn comes out and says it's A-OK that's the dev's decision. At that point a KB+M only section needs to be created. (and likely wither and die without the analog prey they're looking for)
 
Hmm, dare I get into the XIM thing again? I'll just say that gamepad is no way to play a first person shooter. And there are plenty of reasons to play on console instead of PC regardless of input method. So you can't expect someone to pass on their preferred input method just because you don't like it.

Can't wait for this to happen. I hope all the people using a KB/Mouse on PS4 feel really good about destroying everyone

I can expect someone to pass on their preferred input method because it creates an unfair advantage, same as I do playing console FPS exclusively with controllers despite also playing PC FPS with a KB&M.

So the campaign is roughly 6-8 hours?

While I never played the original (I don't like MP shooters), I really liked the visual design and the lore. It felt like such a wasted potential to not include a single player campaign.

Really close to getting this on PC for the SP alone.

I never had a problem getting a full session going. Ever. There was always 200+ online.

also, I DELETED the confirmation email by mistake, is there a way to see the cd key on the games list in my profile? should appear when its ready right?

Yeah, sure, for Attrition. But the other playlists thinned out pretty hard. I don't know if they've done enough to really make the PC crowd stick around this time. Titanfall definitely has a reputation as more of a console game. I don't know if they've really done enough to counter that perception. If it ends up decaying into Attrition plus a few dozen dudes on Reddit playing CTF PUGs, I'll be spending the vast majority of my time on console again.

I have had mixed reactions to this game. Played it a lot on the Xboxone. Played the beta and felt different. I have read all the reaction to the changes and now I am pleasantly but also cautiously hyped. I will get it for the PS4 this time around if it has a following.
 
I used to get really pissed off when I heard single player campaigns were getting so short, but at this point anything more than that for most shooters is such a slog. I haven't had a shooter campaign really hold my interest since Advanced Warfare.

PS4 - 900p and even better performance when the pro patch arrives.

Xbone - Elite controller and more of my friends are on Live.

Hopefully Respawn will have a nice fresh update for the scorpio when it comes out next fall.

A ton of people on Titanfall's reddit were saying it unlocks at the same time for everyone which is supposedly Oct 28 at 12:00 am EST. Not sure if 100% true or not. I hope we can use a VPN though , thatd be awesome!
 
Think I might wait for my birthday and play this campaign all day! Glad it turned out good!!!! Love Titanfall.

They have great input lag times. There were tests done on the Shoryuken forums using arcade sticks on various adapters. They also release pretty consistent firmware updates for these things as well which is nice.

Isnt there an official licensed mouse/keyboard device for ps4 anyway?

I dont care what method someone uses. I'd rather have more cross play options in games. I suck with a mouse anyway.
