Starting my second run today and I'm about halfway through now deciding to go on to Sector X or Solar. Loving the game and I'll eventually get over my complaints about the voice acting and the land rover.
This is exactly how I would like a new original Star Fox to be, a solar system like this with about 15 to 20 planets or areas and different routes depending on how you complete a level with a focus on replayability, high score, etc. Minimal focus on narrative with the goal being to play over and over trying to achieve a better result or a different route/ending. I really hope this sells well enough to encourage them to make a Star Fox 64 2.
Would love to see many more classic games receive this kind of treatment with a strong focus on remaining authentic to the core mechanical functions of a game as the utmost priority with other peripheral factors being expanded or embellished.
Playing with the Switch Nintendo 64 Controller is peak perfect.
