AMD R9 390X benchmarks leak

When games like GTA V, maxed, are already using more than 4GBs of memory at 1080p (tried it myself to see how much it would use), putting 4GB on the flagship card seems stupid, unless it is a physical limitation of HBM.

Nice try? What have I tried? I literally didn't know what was HAHAHAHAHA funny. Since I don't play things like GTA or Crysis I have no idea how much VRAM they are demanding at what resolution.

GTAV does NOT use more than 4GB VRAM. Just to clarify. It can use a hefty amount of system RAM, but not VRAM. At 1080p with pretty much everything maxed with my 970 GTAV has never gone beyond 3GB. Also http://wccftech.com/amd-radeon-r9-390x-hawaii-8-gb-gddr5-spotted-radeon-r9-380-tonga-r9-370-pitcairn-rebrands/ According to that link Asus has confirmed and listed a 8GB 390X.

It can go above 3gb if you push the extended sliders.

According to that link what ASUS listed as 390X is some card which is using 8GB of GDDR5. This is most likely a rebadge of 290X and Fiji will have some other name.
