Its recently has the 7th all-time peak player count in the history of Steam and is currently the 6th most played title on Steam, only single player game in the top ten. I'd say those metrics + 20 million copies sold is pretty good.So...it sold like 13M in its first 10 days...and 7M during its next 2 years with huge discounts to the point you can buy it for 10 bucks?
Where was it before the tv show and during its past 2 years? Its recently has the 7th all-time peak player count in the history of Steam and is currently the 6th most played title on Steam, only single player game in the top ten. I'd say those metrics + 20 million copies sold is pretty good.
Now we are going to hold marketing campaigns that are successful against games?Where was it before the tv show and during its past 2 years?
Should have been on pace for 40m any beyond like The Witcher 3.the game had potential to sell so much more
Did you regret the Order 1886?Hype sells. Only game I ever refunded, due to how bad it was, legit trash.
Ended up buying it for consoles later for $5 and I still regret it.
It's not about any of that. It's about this:Now we are going to hold marketing campaigns that are successful against games?
Game is likely to crack to the top 50 all-time best selling games list by years end and beyond once the DLC comes out. But if it makes you feel better to try and damper the success which is a pretty weird flex, I guess go ahead.
When in 2 years you sell 60% of your game's copies during its first 10 days clearly something didn't work out very well.the game had potential to sell so much more
Wow, this fucking guy OP, he’s really got an inferiority complex about liking this game, he will post any fucking number he can find about it. We don’t need a daily thread about this mediocre game.

I joined about a year before you did and have about 1/5th of the posts you have. Of those, maybe 7-8 have been about Cyberpunk 2077. Maybe 9 counting this one. I think I'm good. It's not about any of that. It's about this:

The real question is how some people will die on this hill where everything about this game needs to be defended.
I fucking love Cyberpunk to death, but calling Deus Ex, arguably the greatest cyberpunk franchise ever made, trash?ha. ha.
the best cyberpunk game we had before this was Deus Ex and that was fucking trash. Hate on Cyberpunk all you like but for fans of the cyberpunk genre it's a great game. We need more cyberpunk games. Not just the genre but "Cyberpunk" series.
Its ok to be wrong.Hype sells. Only game I ever refunded, due to how bad it was, legit trash.

It was last reported to be at 18 million in April this year, so 2 million in the last 5-6 months.Where was it before the tv show and during its past 2 years?
The three Shadowrun CRPG's are awesome, so that's something.I am really stoked for it doing good because it will keep other companies looking at that genre and maybe hitting with a good game.
Will be fun to see what others may create in that space.
Lets get that Shadowrun FPS open world game going baby
My only regret is not buying it on release. I'm not pretending it's great game or anything, I just like the setting and how it looks and all the wasted potential.Did you regret the Order 1886?
This and the incessant “Choomba” are the two worst things about this game.Preem.
Twitter is not reacting too well about 20m sales...

Why the fuck do we care about what some random dumb 'He/Him' cunt thinks?
Oh cool, so you know absolutely nothing about the video game industry and how front loaded the sales are then. Thanks for posting....When in 2 years you sell 60% of your game's copies during its first 10 days clearly something didn't work out very well...

spoken like an FPS fan who played through the game once, at best...Not for full price. It's a shooter with some sort of story.
Ah yea, you pick things up and there's an inventory and you can level up, but all of that doesn't really matter, just shoot them. Guns go PRRRROW!
I preordered, got a refund from cdpr. They said they would send me a return label, never did. Still got it lol.I paid $10 for my copy.
Why would you need to play the game more than once? You can get all endings in the same play through. Ultimately, the choices you make don't really matter.spoken like a FPS fan who played through the game once, at best...
Maybe one wasn't able to get all prerequisites to unlock all endings or, possibly the best reason, different builds/playstyles.Why would you need to play the game more than once? You can get all endings in the same play through. Ultimately, the choices you make don't really matter.
The Order didn't sell well, I never bought it on released and never said the game is great. What is ironic about it? The fact I like it's character design?
Ironic
And a nice story with nice characters. And fun as heck gameplay. People aren't spending +200 hours in this game looking at pretty buildings. What is ironic is that just like The order what cyberpunk has going on for it is the setting and the visuals.
