Everytime I see new posts in this thread I'm hoping there's an announcement of a release date :/

I'm really craving some GTA V.

Apparently some SP DLC details where found in some GTA V code, adding new missions for trevor and new gameplay like Casinos.

You meaning bringing it to PS4/XBO/PC? Not happening because it was deemed not worth it back in 2011 and the game's development was quite a messy.

No I believe he meant that modders found out about the supposed casino DLC awhile ago, not that Rock star has announced anything.

Aaah. I'm always a little hesitant about "confirming" features when a modder supposedly finds something in the code. For instance, all of these posts being made about ".zmb" suggesting a zombie mode... .zmb could mean anything.

Yes, as well as audio files that were added in an update last year including some involving the casino and an indoor arena.

Yeah, but it's Rockstar. Don't get me wrong, I hope it doesn't get delayed. 3, San Andreas, 4, and V were all delayed. I don't know about VC. But I can't imagine if there even is a delay it would be long. Regardless, I hope it doesn't and I will be taking some paid time off for release.

Yeah I'm curious about this too since they had that collector's edition that included special character creation options. Since I'm waiting on the PC version I'm interested in buying that if it gets released for the PC but I don't have my hopes up. I want to say based on their track record of PC CEs it's a miss (none for GTA V) but then I recall that I have the Max Payne 3 CE for the PC so I guess it's a 50/50 chance at the moment.

Console wise I expect them to do the CE and/or special edition again at least.

SA was only delayed a week though, that's nothing especially compared to the big delays IV and V faced.

How to Make Grand Theft Auto IV Look Better Than GTA V

We’re still months away from the launch of the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of Grand Theft Auto V. But you can get a seriously high-definition GTA fix right now.

For years, iCEnhancer has been the premiere graphics upgrade mod for the Grand Theft Auto series. Created by technical artist Hayssam Keilany, it has given a high-tech bump to the graphics of each game in the series since 2003′s Vice City.

The most recent update, iCEnhancer 3.0, launched about two weeks ago. It gives 2008′s Grand Theft Auto IV such a stunning facelift that it looks even better than 2013′s GTA V.

ICEnhancer 3.0 adds features such as lens dirt texture, moving clouds, a new color processing method, better and faster bloom, and better motion blur.

Perhaps most importantly, it uses the latest version of ENB, another 3-D graphics mod series (also for games such as The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Deus Ex: Human Revolution) that modifies render functions and applies additional effects.

Now just imagine how awesome GTA V is going to look once modders get their hands on it when it hits the PC later this year.

Think of PS4 as the baseline:

PC GTAV can most likely start off at 60 FPS, even greater draw distances, even higher res textures, more Anti-Aliasing, HBAO etc., given the right hardware, of course.

Over the coming months and years, ICEnhance ^ THAT.

Even still @ just 1080p, nevermind higher resolutions, including 4K.

It's gonna look so sick.

I wonder this as well. We haven't heard anything since E3. If this game is indeed coming out this fall, I would of expected more info by now. In the mean time I'm having a blast with GTA Online on X360.

Hopefully November or December which would be more than a year after GTAV's release on 360/PS3.

If there isn't any news and/or new trailer around the time of Gamescom, in mid August, I'd then might expect a delay until Q1 2015.

Rockstar is undoubtedly hunkered down with development, not concerned with showing off new trailers or giving us news.

They're having more time to remaster GTAV than Naughty Dog did with TLoU which was only about 9 months.

The guy doing Icenhancer is actually quitting from the modding scene, he has had enough of the negative comments he receives whenever he releases his work.

Don't know whether Boris from ENB will look into GTAV.

Ah, had no idea.

Hopefully others come along once the PC version is out. GTAV is SO much better than IV from countless posts, reviews, etc. One would think there will be a demand for graphic mods.

Somebody linked a post not too long ago from Boris saying he is waiting for GTAV to come out so he can work with it, I'm too lazy to find it right now

Well they certainly needs more time because not only GTA 5 is way bigger than TLOU in terms of scope and size but its also on 3 platforms.

This game will be glorious. This is the exact type of game that really benefits from being remastered. The game already looked phenomenal given it's scope. This and TloU:R are the two remasters that I actually really wanted/want.

I suspect given the PS4 reveal video that Rockstar have been working on this probably before the ps360 version launched...

Custom music will definitely be possible for the PC version. I'm going to get the PS4 version first though, if the performance is stable.

Gah, with the state of media playing on the PS4, I'm guessing there won't be custom soundtracks on that platform. Huge bummer.

I feel like September 30th will be the day. There's almost no games released that day or the week before (BIG games that is) and I feel like that would be the best for them. November could happen, but then you have to directly fight Halo, COD, Far Cry, Assassin's Creed, etc.

I only got to
sub heist where u steal the little yellow sub and fly it with the chinook helicopter
. How far into the games story is that? Thats where my last gen console crapped out. Hopefully looking forward to playing the majority of the games story on ps4.
