Fallen Xbot (cannot continue gaining levels in this class)
seriously though, i think 343 would print money if they had a regular flow of celebratory poses as paid DLC.

I think the insinuation that celebrating a victory through high fives and fist pumps is this weird 'bro' thing is more cringey than the animations themselves.

Seriously what's wrong with some high fives? I mean we did stuff like this in the military.

Agreed

Let me think of celebrations done when I played sports.

Handshakes
High fives
Fist bumps
Hugs
Ass slaps (mmmm)
Running and jumping
Jumping up and down while hugging
Group hug
Group hug while jumping
Creative handshakes
Tackling
Getting picked up
Posturing

The list goes on and on

Seriously, high fives and fist bumps aren't a bro thing. I will never and have never understood the negativity surrounding these post game celebrations. It's a team sport. It's a group of Spartans winning a competetive match and showing their camaraderie afterwards.

I have NEVER watched a highly competitive team sport where the winning team just stands there awkwardly immediately after winning. It doesn't happen. Maybe some would enjoy seeing the team of 4 Spartans awkwardly walk out looking at the ground not knowing how to react because it would feel more true to how they would react.

I don't mind having victory animations, but at the same time I like victory teabagging and those animations kick right on after the results screen so no time for it.

Wow, that's pretty bad. I'm glad I never bothered with any EU stuff post-Bungie because I'd probably be upset with the crap they're putting out. I'll just keep pretending it doesn't exist.

Its actually pretty good the EU stuff, but this is just a case of wow wtf were they thinking. but its not like Contact Harvest was that great either.

Damn didn't realize that men and women in their 30s celebrating after a pro sports win were just trying to recapture that "highschool clique feeling."

When will I be able to purchase the Gronk Spike Celebration for $1.99?

Really though, I don't think these things belong in Halo. It just kind of looks goofy.

Just owning a Kinect should allow you to do your own victory poses in real time.

ooo top of page...

what would you nerds want to see in a collectors-ish oil painting of teh Haloz. Was thinking MC and Arby back to back; or maybe a head on shot of MC's helmet (probably would do a few anyway)

I wonder if we'll be able to bring scopes from the REQ system into arena, so they won't be any different except for the aesthetic of the zoom. We could then have a more classic BR and Magnum scope.

I don't think so, the weapon variants that have alternate scopes and aesthetics are tied to REQ Cards that can only be used in Warzone. Using the skins as camos may be confusing in game - especially in Warzone - since you will think it is a variant versus the re-skinned base.

Yup, I'm pretty sure it's just angry nerds who can't relate to celebrations and socialness.

Gronk spike emote

Lemme just give 343 my bank account

Would buy it for destiny too

It won't happen as I imagine both companies are probably still salty about what happened in February.

There is nothing wrong with high fives, hugs or whatever but that swagger, deliberate pose that some of those Spartans are doing is the type of awful celebrations I was referring to. People that do that are probably happy no doubt but it's scripted in movement is what I'm getting at. It's too cool and arrogant, anyone could do that and you would be non the wiser if it was genuine emotion, it's robotic copy cat like, heard mentality. That Rocky example is more natural with some intensity, not I won but look as I perform this pose and movement to perfection, stand back and give me space for my big head. Excitement and passion not choreography.

Aaaaaaaaand Halo 3: ODST also done solo on legendary. Quite a breeze actually, except for one part, and if it wasn't almost making me embed my controller into my screen.

It's as if they never playtested legendary solo on coastal highway, the entire level is quite doable except for a single part that involves the Gauss Warthog. At this point Dare just decides to roll on through while being bombarded by Banshees, Ghosts and a Wraith tank. However, Buck is so hilariously bad at shooting things that it's absolutely no option to have him in the gunner seat, in fact he is so bad that I am actually not letting him take the gunner seat in Halo 5 either. So if you take Buck as the gunner, either Dare or you are gonna get killed real fast. The only option is to take the gun yourself, but you're stationary, so if you're not really fast or the wraith lands a good hit, you're dead. Aside from that, after you have taken out the wraith and a few banshees that are near, you have to quickly switch seats and rush to Dare before she gets destroyed by the Ghosts because she just keep riding on through.

That was such a horrible segment.. but in its entirety the ODST campaign remains very enjoyable.

Weird, buck had no issue shooting everything down on my legendary playthrough.

I didn't have to gun once myself, made it on the first try too.

He had some serious issues on my run. I actually had to quickly kick him out and do the shooting myself. I tried it a couple of times with him in the gunner's seat but everytime Dare would get smoked or the banshees would tear us apart.

its more the arms out head nod spartan i don't like. he's douchey.

He probably is a douche.

I hope they add in taunts that can be used mid game instead of just at the end.

The bro posturing clearly rubbed a lot of people the wrong way, while it didn't bother other people. Which is not surprising, it's one of those things that to some people seems totally normal and even fun, while to other people it seems laced with machismo and poor sportsmanship, while to other people it just seems in vaguely poor taste.

I dunno, I like the idea, but I'm very sensitive to bro-ish displays of broness. I hate that shit. I want to courtsey or do a cute winky face or something.
