At least you can order. It's not available on Steam in my region so I have to wait for it to be available in stores which by the look of it seems like 2030.

I have a sneaky decision they only made 1000 units or something and waited to see if anyone cared and than making a purchase. No other reason for this long ass wait for a controller. Wait till they sell out the initial Steam Machines... 2 year wait

Mine arrived today and just tried it out, it's pretty awesome. The touchpad has some haptic feedback on my fingers that makes a big difference. I need to play with it some more but this may finally be the best of both worlds in terms of controller and K+M that I've been looking for.

I think the opposite. There's people on eBay with multiples - they under estimated scalper culture especially when there's software you can subscribe too that scalps for you.

Anyway I put my reservation in 5 days after preorders went up and I've got 2027 delivery

Not worth the wait IMO

I kind of agree, because I switch between controllers. It's a very solid controller, though and the touchpads are amazing. I find myself trying to decide if I want to use this or M/K sometimes. It's a nice inbetween. It is one of the best controllers out there, and yes there are better ones, but I'd expect to pay 150-200+ for something that wipes the floor with this thing and do what it does or better.

I struggle to imagine the reasons it would take 7+ months to produce and deliver a controller. Valve really needs to step up their supply chain if they want to make it as a hardware company.

That said, it will be worth it. Don't settle for less if you want a PC controller (unless you use it exclusively wired).
