The Autumn Wind
Wow! From the moment Paige starts questioning her parents to the end was just perfect. The reveal to asking them to speak Russian to her staring at Beeman... just wow! What an incredible episode. Can't wait to see where this all goes next.
That part was great. Seeing her realizing the entire reality of her parents' situation was amazing.

Loved this episode. The acting by the Paige character was so well done, tone was spot on. Think she has really grown as the seasons have gone one, initially thought she was the weakest actor but has completely changed my view of her.

So is this currently still 1982?, all the films at the cinema [The Verdict, The Dark Crystal, Tootsie] were released in the US in December of that year.
With only three episodes left, I wonder if they will reach 8th March 1983 for the Reegan "Evil Empire" speech this season.

The program is getting better every season and maybe my favourite show atm.

Season finale is entitled "March 8th, 1983" :p

Excerpt from it:

The Western World can answer this challenge, he wrote, "but only provided that its faith in God and the freedom He enjoins is as great as communism's faith in Man."

I believe we shall rise to the challenge. I believe that communism is another sad, bizarre chapter in human history whose last pages even now are being written. I believe this because the source of our strength in the quest for human freedom is not material, but spiritual. And because it knows no limitation, it must terrify and ultimately triumph over those who would enslave their fellow man. For in the words of Isaiah: "He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might He increased strength. . . . But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary. . . ."

Yes, change your world. One of our Founding Fathers, Thomas Paine, said, "We have it within our power to begin the world over again." We can do it, doing together what no one church could do by itself.

As an aside to your question, you can absolutely use pop culture/periods references the show makes to deduce what year/month/day it is, as they go to pains to make that stuff as accurate as they can, to the point of just not using stuff if the timing is inaccurate.

Finally saw the latest episode
That was a good reveal not a cliche Paige finding it out by following them or finding some spy documents. I also thought they are going to save it as a finale cliffhanger. I like how it was revealed mid episode and able to tackle it right away
Paige staring at Stan. Lol she being part of the lie :D
I need more 80s music. throw in some synth

New episode tonight:
One Day in The Life of Anton Baklanov

Philip and Elizabeth's home and work lives collide in new ways; Nina struggles to figure out her next steps; Arkady assigns Oleg and Tatiana to an operation with uncertain potential.

Only one hype tweet so far this week, but it was from yesterday so it counts double:

Supersonic, idiotic, disconnecting, not respecting, who would really ever wanna go and top that
The reveal was handled very well, better than I would have expected after we got "Nancy Drew" Super Sleuth Paige as a stinger at the end of Season 1. Glad they reeled things back and built up to it. Paige got a ton of characterization over the past 2 seasons, so it made this have way more of an impact.

Glad I finally caught up, was busy and got two episodes behind. Worst two episodes to have been late on. I kept seeing reviews talk about how amazing things have been, so I made time to catch up.

I shot people I like more for less.
Checking in. It'll be interesting to see how the show goes from here after what happened last week.

Paige keeping Henry out of the loop because she's jealous he's the better spy kid with his secret porn stash and breaking into houses to play video games and his expert
Eddie Murphy
impersonations.

Fuck you Yousef, no one told you to strangle your girlfriend.

Paige is an outlaw, she doesn't give a damn what you have to say about your momma, Liz.

Man, Elizabeth is finally able to open up to a person, and her daughter no less, about her real self for like the first time in her adult life, but it's in a situation where Paige just naturally isn't gonna trust anything you say. Talk about the most polar opposites of a situation right there. Like the ultimate relief and shittiness all at once.
