Warframe.

Its free-to-play, but in a good way, doesn't even require PS+, gets significant updates, and has a metric shitton of content. Its by far the PS4 game I've played the most, by a long shot, and with no end in sight.

I love it, the kids love and even my wife loves it. I've been trying to get my wife into gaming for about 12 years without any luck, but I can't pry her away from Don't Starve.

The wait for the Show between MGS and Infamous won't be that bad for some like me who can't wait for that. I just finished Tomb Raider between that and ACIV those were my favorite multiplats so far. Scoop up all the f2p and PS+ stuff as well all worth a try.

I know to be honest I was trolling all the haters of the game. I own it too, and while super simple gameplay, I think it was a good idea to have an easy platformer at the beginning even though we have enough of them from Nintendo already. I haven't bought any other PS4 games besides Need for Speed since then lol.

I see everyone recommending Towerfall but is it worth it as a single player game? I rarely have the opportunity to have people over so my coop time would be next to zero

Me too, nabbed one at Costco yesterday.

I started up Contrast as my first game (I have all the PS+ freebies and Flower from crossbuy). I'm liking that so far--played through Act 1.

I grabbed Killzone from Amazon Warehouse Deals for $30ish as well, that should come tomorrow--but not sure I'll be home to grab the delivery. I know reviews are mixed, but wanted something next gen to check out a full fledged game and I liked 2 and 3 a lot so figure it's at least worth a playthrough then sell it off.

Infamous I'll not buy for a while as the first two are in my PS3 backlog. I'll likely skip the first and just play the 2nd fairly soon and get Second Son in the summer when it's cheaper and I've had a break from the 2nd (assuming I like it of course).

ACIV and NFS are the best games on the system IMO.
Knack is pretty fun, but nothing great.
NBA2K14 is a fucking F2P game wrapped in a $60 package.
Resogun: pretty cool, not really my thing as I'm not a huge fan of scrolling shooters
Killzone: Great looking game that lacks in presentation and story
Lego Marvel Superheroes: Really fun and gorgeous on the system (get this over Knack)

Haven't played much else ... well, I have but can't suggest much, Don't Starve is fun but starting over sucks, ruined it for me.

When I had mine, resogun,warframe, and dc universe left positive impression to me. Regarding the full retail games, I can't think of any worth your time until infamous hits :(

Try KZ:SF and Knack for yourself. Don't always believe the naysayers. Killzone isn't ground breaking but its fun(not to mention its the best looking next gen game out there) and Knack isn't bad if you are looking for couch coop.

I have those. The rubber on sticks tends to wear after certain time which ranges from a couple dozens to several hundred hours. Mine started showing wear after about 200 hours. This affects some controllers but you never know if yours isn't one of those. There was a thread on the problem.

Firstly, congratulations!

Resogun, Dead Nation, Outlast. Which are still free if you have ps+ if I'm not mistaken.

If you haven't played Tomb Raider, I highly recommend it on ps4.

I'm not a FPS fan but I enjoyed KZ quite a bit, mostly multiplayer didn't finish the single.

Lego marvel was fun for local Co op as is dead nation

AC4 is beautiful and fun.
Tomb Raider was nice to although I don't think it is worth full price.
